The Space

If you enjoy socializing but also value privacy, this property offers the perfect balance. Upstairs, you have your own private, spacious apartment, while downstairs provides ample opportunities for interaction. This unique setup is hard to find elsewhere.

The property consists of two separate apartments, each with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating 4 to 8 guests comfortably. A large terrace with a barbecue overlooks the pool area. Even if the calendar shows full booking, feel free to contact us as we have two identical apartments available.

Located above Playa Grande's premier surf shop, guests benefit from a dedicated staff downstairs ready to assist. As a guest, you receive a 20% discount on equipment rentals and surfing lessons at the shop. Concierge services are available, allowing you to engage with others when you wish, while still enjoying your own space.

Guest Access

The pool is shared between the two apartments. A bamboo fence offers some separation between the pool area and the back of the surf shop, but the pool area is not fully private.

Staff will be working nearby and are respectful of your space, though you may hear them during their duties. Amenities include:

• Outdoor hot water shower by the pool
• Poolside restroom
• Separate upstairs rancho area, ideal for relaxing, practicing yoga, or for teenagers to hang out quietly

The rancho is a peaceful spot where you can work or unwind without interruptions.

Laundry facilities are managed by the cleaning staff, who have Sundays and Mondays off. One load of laundry is included free with a 7-day stay; additional loads cost $10 each.

Water restrictions are currently in effect. Guests are asked to use water responsibly. Detailed guidelines will be provided upon reservation confirmation. If these policies do not suit your vacation style, you may cancel without penalty within five days of booking.

Location

Playa Grande, Costa Rica, is a stunning destination featuring over 4 kilometers of white sandy beach, perfect for long walks. Between October and February, you can witness Leatherback Turtles nesting on the shore.
