Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

My host was most gracious. From driving and escorting me to his place to useful tips on what to see/where to eat etc.

Un jardin tropical où vous pourrez être réveillé par des oiseaux d'une multitudes de couleurs.. Les jacuzzi sont là pour vous permettre une relaxation intense que vous préfériez chaud ou froid la cabaña saura répondre à vos attentes. Le soir vous profiterez de lumière dansante de toute les couleurs et de diffuseurs d'odeur avec des combinaison olfactives créer par guillermo qui terminerons le travail de relation. Anti dépresseur assuré ! Ça c'est pour la partie matériel maintenant que dire de l'humain.. Guillermo est de loin notre plus belle rencontre faite au costa rica, un homme chaleureux à l'écoute de ses hôtes comme aucun autre hôte airbnb. Si vous le souhaitez Guillermo vous fera découvrir l'authenticité de San Isidro loin des stations balnéaires de Jaco ou de la côte caribeaine. C'est un homme d'une générosité sans égale qui saura vous mettre à l'aise des vos premières minutes dans ce paradis secret. Nous avions réservé 5 jours en début de voyage et avons pris la décision de revenir les 5 derniers jours pour terminer sur cette note d'énergie positive et d'amitié. Nous reviendrons au costa rica pour revenir à la cabana afin de retrouver notre nouvel ami. Un grand merci pour cette expérience humaine au delà de nos espérance.

The house is on a quiet road, surrounded by high fences, and three dogs that look after the property, so if you are afraid to leave the car on the road, or break-ins, then the place is ideal. Guillermos is the perfect host, he is available pretty much 24/7.

Huset ligger på en rolig vej, omkranset af høje hegn, og tre hunde der passer på ejendommen, så er man bange for at lade bilen stå på vejen, eller indbrud, så er stedet ideelt. Guillermos er den perfekte vært, han står til rådighed stort set døgnet rundt.

I had the best time at the Cabana. Guillermo is the perfect host. I am a female and I was traveling alone. Guillermo looked out for me as if I was family. The pictures of the property does no justice. The property is beautiful and peaceful. It surpassed my expectations. Guillermo went out of his way to make this my home during my stay. Guillermo is the best host I have met through my various Airbnb stays, the cabina is super well equipped, comfortable and one of a kind. Guillermo was always available, giving us delicious oranges for the remainder of our trip, i would 100% recommend this place.

A very quiet place that represents the Costa Rican rurality, specifically in the  Valle del General. A very quiet and warm place.  Excellent host. A very close river, very beautiful and suitable for bathing and sunbathing.

We had an outstanding stay at Guillermo's. The location is excellent, being out of any conurbations but close enough to San Isidro's shops and amenities. There are also nice restaurants nearby, as well as rivers to bathe in. The house is big and open to the surrounding nature, with birds and squirrels coming into the garden on a daily basis. The outside has two heated jacuzzis for relaxation, a pool, a fountain, a decorative fish basin, a sandy "beach" to enjoy the sun; as well as several hammocks to rest in the shade. The house itself is cosy and comfortable. The internet connection is very good, and we comfortably used it to work, attend video calls and stream movies. Guillermo, who lives on the upper floor, is a caring and considerate host. Throughout our stay, he was helpful with lots of tips and advice. Aside from being very quiet, he also made every effort to help us and ensure we had an amazing stay and exploration of Costa Rica! We will be returning the next time we are in Costa Rica.

I didn't actually get to stay there due to barracades and protestors.  I needed up being trapped in another town.

This Place is unbelivable.. in a small garden djungel and with all types of birds, kollibri and tucan.... you need to be a zoologists to name all the birds. If you don’t like birds you can relax in the pool and jacuzzi.. thanks Guillermo we really liked your home

We stayed here during our visit to Perez/ San Isidro area for medical and dental appointments. Initially, We had a little trouble finding the place which is not uncommon in Costa Rica. our gracious host met us on the road and guided us into his property. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised. Guillermo has created a beautiful serene peaceful piece of paradise. Guillermo is one of those hosts that goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are happy.  And we were. This is one of the few properties in the area with a pool- not just any pool but a custom designed Jacuzzi pool with 2 smaller jacuzzi pools complete with high powered jets to help one relax. The room had a queen bed, tv, private bathroom and portable ac unit which was fine. Our buddy stayed in the 2nd floor room which had multiple beds and a private bathroom.  Guillermo (The host) lives onsite in a separate 2nd floor unit.   The property has multiple tropical fruit trees, flowers and feeding stations to invite the local birds over for a snack. Guillermo is a true 5 star host. Mr Guillermo Thank you for your wonderful hospitality we will be back.
