We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful. The house has plenty of room for a group. We watched the monkeys play in the trees. Fun to see the chickens eating mangos on the ground. It is just a short walk through the gate to the beach. Snorkeling along the mountain side of beach was great. Beautiful fish, manna rays, coral and puffer fish were abundant. The pool was great for late afternoon/evening swim. We enjoyed barbecuing and hanging out in the living/kitchen area. Well appointed kitchen that is located outside in an open area upstairs.. Which we got used to quickly. The housekeeping staff were always available. We would stay here again and again. Thank you for your great hospitality. The Goodman Group.

Wow! Such a beautiful house and perfect location. Within the jungle but on the beach and right at the end of the road near town. Monkeys in the mango tree right out front. We loved every minute! Have Evany cook and arrange a boat trip. Both were highlights.

Carmina’s property was absolutely amazing! The whole family had a blast! It fit us all comfortably and the beach was great for our teenagers to swim and snorkel at. There were so many fish! Rays, puffers, etc., it was surreal! The local restaurants were easily accessible and delicious. We used a local mother/daughter cooking team to cook meals for us at home outside of the two meals we ate out, and had the best Costa Rican cuisine ever. Thank you so much Carmina!!! We can’t wait to come back!!

The fact that this home is directly ON the beach was a huge bonus. Clean well maintained pool was a bonus. Incredible soft sand and huge waves made for hours of fun. Very cool to have thebliving space and kitchen open-air, and cool comfortable bedrooms for sleeping. Great recommendations and quick communication. We would totally stay here again!

Great place on the beach, we woke up to the surf and monkeys in the trees. Very comfortable and just what you’d want in Costa Rica - highly recommend!

Dream week in Costa Rica with family and friends! Casa Cardumen was perfect, both for adults and children. We each had our own room with private bathroom, and the kitchen and outdoor living room were comfortable and very well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and the sea which was warm during our stay! The village is a few meters away, you can even get there along the beach by taking a nice walk. Carmina responded super quickly and offers service beyond expectations. We advise everyone to spend an unforgettable vacation there, this house is a jewel because of its style and located by the beach!!!

The house was a perfect place for a family reunion with our 4 grown children. Carmina was very responsive to any and all questions. The area had plenty of restaurants and activities and was a perfect place to relax. We would go back anytime!

The beachfront home was just as pictured in the photos. The home is beautiful and the staff and Camina were extremely responsive. We had 11 of us at the home with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It was spacious and we loved walking on the beach each morning (which was less than 1 minute from the back porch) and watching the sunset in the evening. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

We had the BEST TIME at Casa Cardumen- went with our entire family and the 4 large bedrooms housed all of us (6 adults, 4 kids ages 7, 5, 5, and 1) comfortably with beds to spare. First, the location: you’re literally on the best part of the beach in Playa Coco with trees for shade, and the week we were there the water was so clear and beautiful you could see fish swimming! We loved that the house was right on the beach, and spent most of our days there. The house itself was the perfect mix of having an authentic Costa Rica experience and luxury. The outdoor living area was beautiful and we were literally visited by a monkey while eating breakfast. The air conditioned bedrooms were so comfortable (those beds🫶). And I loved the gate on the stairs to keep my 1 year old contained. The Casa C staff was incredible. They were attentive, responded quickly when we asked questions, and gave us the best local recommendations for tours and even cooked for us! 10/10 will return! Book it!

We spent a week here with two other families and our kids. It was a perfect fit for all of us. Having separate rooms and bathrooms gave everyone their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the water filter worked great for refilling our water bottles. We did have raccoons visit multiple nights. So I wouldn’t leave any food on the counter and make sure the trash is put away. We arranged to have multiple meals prepared at the house by Yoselin and Evany. The menu to choose from had a nice variety and the food was fantastic. It was even cheaper than going to restaurants and more convenient since the kids could play while meals were cooked. The beach was beautiful and was great to walk on. The waves were rough during our stay so we didn’t swim at the beach by the house. The pool was great but one thing to note is it’s not heated and was on the cooler side. But felt great on the hot days. Overall we loved the trip and would absolutely stay here again next time!

The house and location was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. I stayed with my wife and children and my mother came to stay for a couple of days. We all had a wonderful time. Carmina was a great host and answered any questions quickly. We all enjoyed watching the monkeys that came down to the trees nearby on our last few days. We felt like we were in our own little jungle. We relaxed every evening to the sounds of the waves crashing. Every morning we walked along the beach which was practically empty. We felt like we had our own private beach. We had a great time in the town and at the beautiful house.

We had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica! The home was beautiful and comfortable, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible family who hosted us. They were beyond friendly and made us feel so welcome and at home. They helped us arrange excursions and transportation, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Every meal we had was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with love. This was more than just a place to stay; it was an experience filled with warmth, hospitality, and unforgettable memories. We’re so grateful for everything and highly recommend staying here! Beautiful place! Plenty of room for our family of 12. The caretakers are wonderful.

We had a lovely week stay. Great pool, comfortable lodging. AC in bedrooms worked great. Great location in terms of beach access. The bedrooms also feel very separate from each other which provides nice privacy for separate families/groups etc. The monkeys and birds were an amazing addition to watch too. A few helpful things to note: it's about a 1 mile walk to downtown on the beach from the house. The week we were there had fairly big surf so swimming with our 6 year old was dicey. Our last day the waves calmed down and it felt safe to actually swim with her. So depending on the weather and you're level of comfort it may or may not be swimmable for kids. Lastly, as the photos show, it's an outdoor kitchen. Which we embraced but it meant lots of ants and geckos too. Storing food on the counter or in cupboards was a no go. We kept everything in the frige. Totally fine for us and a part of the experience but if you're not a outdoorsy tolerant person, this may not be the space for you.
