Our family stay at Bert's Casa in Tamarindo was fabulous! The accommodation was perfect and the kids loved having the pool. Just a short walk to the beach, we enjoyed all the Tamarindo had to offer. The communication was excellent, and Josue and Juanita kept the house running smoothly for our whole visit. Would definitely go back again.

What an absolutely amazing experience at Villa Ethir in Tamarindo! I booked the villa for Katrina, Tobyn, and their kids, and from the start, the communication with Bert (the owner) was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth—from helping me book a rental car to providing fantastic local recommendations for restaurants and activities. When he realized there might be some nearby construction noise, he immediately arranged guest passes for a nearby resort as a thoughtful gesture. His attention to detail and genuine care made planning this trip so much easier. From Katrina and the family’s perspective, the stay itself was just as wonderful. The location is unbeatable—just steps from a picturesque beach—and the villa is exactly as pictured, if not better. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything they needed, and Josué, the on-site contact, was always available, kind, and incredibly helpful. Both Bert and Josué made the whole experience seamless.

I’ve rented from several Airbnb hosts before, but I’ve never experienced such a wonderful, hands-on owner as Bert. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure his guests feel welcomed and cared for. Bert is an amazing individual who takes the time to make sure everything in his power is perfect. The home itself is in a fantastic location, just steps away from the beach, and Tamarindo is a wonderful area to explore.

We had a fantastic stay! Bert and Josue were very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. The house was great, very walkable to the beach and downtown. We will definitely be back in Tamarindo and would love to stay here again!

Bert’s place was very convenient to all of the activities we wanted to do and far enough away from town to be peaceful. Bert’s suggestions for restaurants and activities were perfect. A few maintenance issues during our stay but Jose was on it right away. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

It is a beautiful casa in a secure community. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything needed for cooking. The property manager is very helpful and responds quickly when needed. Our family had a wonderful vacation.
