There are many wonderful things about this spot. It’s in a prime location in Rancho- very close to the inn and walkable to the excellent restaurant and small pool at playa Rosada. The place is large and clean. The pool and sunset views are absolutely dreamy. The issues we had revolved around lack of wifi and trouble with check in. There is another property at Rancho called Casa Rosada that is close by and managed by the property, and the pin on the Airbnb map is not accurate. Google Maps is also not accurate when you put in the given address, so there was lots of confusion for us upon check in. The house is quite pricey and shampoo and conditioner, as well as spices and basics such as olive oil, were not present, which was disappointing. There is lots of wildlife around, so be aware that this is the norm for Nica. Communication with property owner was good and overall it’s a gorgeous spot. I think there are some kinks to be resolved to make this a 5 star property that matches the price

Casa Rosada is located in beautiful Rancho Santana, but unfortunately our stay did not fully match the listing or our expectations, especially given the price. During our stay we experienced ongoing issues with hot water and very low water pressure, the pool pump was not functioning, and we had a rat in the kitchen that spanned two days and required us to trap and remove it ourselves. Several pieces of indoor and outdoor furniture were also different from what is shown in the listing photos. Communication with the host was polite. Keys were eventually provided, though initially we were told locking the home was not necessary, which felt uncomfortable. Because the stay was prepaid at a high rate and we were traveling internationally, relocating was not a realistic option, so we completed the stay despite these issues. The property has potential, but future guests may want to confirm amenities and details in advance

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rosada. The house was perfect for our needs, with a fully equipped kitchen, a pool and a nice shaded area to sit outside and watch the sunset. It was also wonderful to be in Rancho Santana and take advantage of their activities - my daughter especially enjoyed horseback riding. We also enjoyed the pool and restaurant at the Inn, and La Boquita restaurant. Hector checked in on the house daily to clean the pool and grounds, and Karina provided housekeeping services and answered any questions that we had. Rodis was also very responsive to our questions and needs. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful Rancho Santana home! We enjoyed the space, open living room, and fantastic pool. The location is excellent for enjoying all that Rancho has to offer. The Rosada team is super! The house was clean and comfortable throughout our stay, and all amenities worked perfectly. The home is walkable to the clubhouse; a 4x4 is very nice to enjoy all the beaches and restaurants without waiting for the Rancho shuttles. Thank you Casa Rosada!

We enjoyed staying at Casa Rosada. It is a gorgeous home. The view from the house is stunning. You can see the ocean. You will fall in love watching the sunset from the balcony. The home AC works perfectly. The bedrooms are cozy. The bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The shower offers cold and hot water. The property is walking 5 minutes distance to La Boquita restaurant and 15 minutes walking distance to the Club House. The pool is incredible, always warm and clean. The TVs work well. The property has a home backup generator in case the power goes out. The internet works incredibly. The home caretaker, Mayner, communicated excellently with us, always attentive to whatever we needed (e.g., cleaning service, washing and drying services). We enjoyed our stay at Casa Rosada. We highly recommend booking your stay with Casa Rosada. 😃

We loved our stay at Casa Rosada! The location is BEAUTIFUL and we caught so many gorgeous sunsets and moonlit views with the huge windows and beautiful location overlooking the beach. About a 10 min walk from the Rancho Santana Clubhouse which was very convenient compared to friends who had booked locations farther away. Also a 3 min walk from the beach Overall experience was excellent and would 100% book again. The host was incredibly accommodating even bringing more drinking water at 8 am. The space was comfortable and beautiful and we would love to stay there again!

Our stay was wonderful! Kitchen was fully equipped, the space is beautiful and functional. The house has a beach vibe with a great indoor / outdoor living space. A few minutes walk from the beach. Tip - you need a car staying at Rancho Santana, if you want to explore beaches and restaurants they are very far apart and there are many hills. The property is incredible, you’ll enjoy it more with wheels. Really relaxing stay. If you like resort style living without being on a resort this is the place.
