There were piles of swept up dirt in the middle of each room. The fridge had brown smelly water in the bottom. the bedsheets were clean as were towels but my son and I who shared a bed were bitten by bed bugs and the pillows under the cases were black with mildew. The house is completely dilapidated. Everything metal is rusty. There were old used bars of soap in the bathrooms. A tealight by the kitchen sink was black with mould. The bedrooms are threadbare and the window ledges were covered in insect waste. The kitchen utensils were minimal and the chopping board was disgusting. There were only two chairs to rest on outside. The small wicker sofa was propped up by a bottle crate. The two sofa beds looked as though they were rusting and smelled of stale human sweat. This smell filled the living/dining/kitchen space. The plastic furniture that was the dining suite was black with mildew. I brought my elderly parents hoping to give them a real treat on their first weekend as visitors to Panama. I cried when we got there, I was so horrified by how awful the place was. I am an Airbnb host myself and I would be ashamed to charge that much for such a place.

This house looks beautiful in the pictures but has been abandoned for a couple of years and has deteriorated a lot. Whoever manages it now isn't investing anything in it. It's unfortunate! It has great design and location. I recommend investing a little in paint, maintenance, furniture, garden and staircase to have access to the water. Thank you to the people who transported us on the boat, Rina and Alexis, for their attention and for being attentive to us.

We loved the location and architecture of the house, it is one in the middle of the forest and very close to the best beaches in the area. It's very quiet at night, but it still feels safe because there are neighbors nearby. The furniture is basic but functional. The attention of the administrator, Raúl, was key to enjoying our stay, he was always attentive to coordinate transportation and help us with whatever was needed.

The setting is great and the house is very nice. Alejandro coordinated everything upon our arrival perfectly, communication was very smooth. That same day the house ran out of electricity and Alejandro mobilized and went out of his way to fix the problem on December 24th and finally made it. Check-in in "panga" adds their point of adventure :) I would just add something to improve the cleanliness.

This is great place to stay when you are looking to get away from Panama City. The house is very rustic, no thrills but very private and quiet.
