I can’t speak highly enough about Casa Kai. I booked this incredible home for my son’s 14th birthday, and Monica was fantastic throughout the process, constantly keeping me updated. She connected us with top-notch vendors, drivers, tour guides, and even shared her go-to places for the freshest fruits and vegetables, restaurants, beaches, and food stores. I've met many wonderful hosts, but Monica truly stands out! We even had a talented chef visit, who praised the house for being fully equipped with everything you could need. The house itself is absolutely stunning - serene, beautiful, and with breathtaking views. Everywhere you look, it’s stocked with everything imaginable: pool toys, beach gear, basketballs, kitchen essentials, games, toiletries, beach chairs, and umbrellas. Trust me, booking this Airbnb is an experience you won’t regret. Our boys had a blast at the beach boogie-boarding, and the beach gear was a real lifesaver. This will definitely become an annual trip. PURA VIDA!

Our weeklong stay at Casa Kai was excellent. The home exceeded our expectations and was even better in person than in the photos. Every part of the property was thoughtfully designed, from the interior decor to the landscaping. The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay, from cleaning supplies to plenty of board games and puzzles. The kitchen had every appliance and tool we could think of, and having beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach essentials available made our time exploring Costa Rica much easier. The community is gated and so is the house. We felt very safe and appreciated the extra sense of security. Monica was a wonderful host. She was kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, and her hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. Her recommendations were a 10/10 (sunset dinner at Sentido Norte is a must do). We highly recommend Casa Kai to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again.

This home is absolutely gorgeous. It has a designer’s touch and was surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful views. We enjoyed the infinity pool, surrounding nature, and easy access to nearby beaches and restaurants. It sits between Tamarindo and Las Catalinas which were both fun to visit. The location was private but accessible to all the things we wanted to do. Monica was extremely responsive and made lots of wonderful recommendations including the chefs we used for the week. We had a great stay and would love to visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Kai. It was just what we needed after a few days of lots of activities! The place was better than the pictures! Very clean and well stocked. Monica was very responsive if we had any questions. We had coffee and breakfast every morning by the pool and grilled dinner most nights. We loved the pool and the view and there were so many little spots on the decks and patios to read a book and watch the afternoon storms that rolled in. I hope we can return someday!

We had a fabulous week away in Casa Kai as a family of 7 adults. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, the house was for sure a beautiful location to rest and enjoy all that it offers as a holiday home. You don’t need to hesitate on this one. Just book it already ;-) Great space. Everything you need. Short drive from beaches and make sure to check out Forever Salty for a local coffee! They’re the BEST! Beach Break for Breakfast and the Brazilian bakery were local favourites also. Wish we had more time to explore! Thank you Monica for ensuring our stay in your home was truly amazing.

Our stay at Casa Kai was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The Airbnb exceeded every expectation - spotless, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Monica was outstanding to work with and genuinely helpful. She was able to provide us with a fishing guide recommendation, and even a beautiful hilltop restaurant for the birthday girl in our group! The location was perfect if you're flying into Liberia, definitely recommend a rental car to get around. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, and we really enjoyed grilling poolside in the evening. The Infiniti pool was absolutely stunning and a great hangout space for our group! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable Costa Rican experience. 10/10!!!

The home was outstanding, felt very spacious, and was in such a great location. Incredibly relaxing and quiet area with a gorgeous view. Monica was incredibly responsive and helped us out when we had questions or needed recommendations for the duration of our stay. Will definitely be back!!

We can’t say enough about the house or the hosting for this Airbnb. The house is a dream! It’s large, airy and fully equipped with everything you could think of or need. The property itself is great with a lawn space, beautiful pool and nice shaded seating area. The property, house and community feel very secure and safe. It is not a far drive from a small grocery store and from the restaurants at Playa Grande. Monica was an amazing host. Super responsive, ensuring we had what we needed. We ended up experiencing an urgent situation while staying at Casa Kai and Monica managed it wonderfully. She checked in frequently and kept us informed. We will absolutely book this Airbnb again for future trips.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Casa Kai! The pictures definitely don’t do it justice. My kids loved the pool, and the house had everything we could have possible needed … fully stocked kitchen, pool toys, board games, etc. The location was the perfect launching point to explore all the surrounding towns and beaches. Most of all, Monica is a phenomenal host. She was extremely attentive throughout our stay. Her recommendations for places to see, beaches to enjoy, and restaurants to check out were always on point. We will definitely come back!

We had the most fantastic stay at Casa Kai! We were greeted by howler monkeys a few mornings—such a fun surprise for our kids (and adults too!). The house was truly amazing and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed during our week in Playa Grande. Monica was super responsive and available for any questions. Would recommend this beautiful home to friends and family, and would absolutely come back on a future trip to Costa Rica.

We had a wonderful time over March break at Casa Kai. The home was every bit as nice as advertised and more. We found it surprisingly large inside, very well furnished, clean, and with all the amenities one would want. Monica was a top notch host: responsive, positive, and provided great local recommendations. We would highly recommend Casa Kai to anyone looking in the area.

Absolutely amazing! 7th trip to CR and this was by far the best place. I cannot say enough positive things about this home, clean, comfortable, fully stocked, beautiful, and amazing! My only regret is not staying longer.

Monica is a wonderful host and very responsive. We loved the home and area. She keeps it stocked with everything you would need for your trip. It is a beautiful house and we are already planning our next trip back!

We spent 8 nights in this amazing place. The host, Monica, was all the time very helpful and supportive. The house is well equipped and very clean. The micro location of the property on the hill provides privacy and surrounding nature obey the feel like you are part of the jungle although you are a few minutes away from the village/ocean.
