What a great place!!!! We arrived in the dark and were immediately greeted by a sloth in the tree next to our bungalow. Brian was great with communication and looked after us perfectly. If you are looking for a small oasis away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be! The breakfast was also very tasty, and the pool was simply a dream. The town of Cocles was also very nice, and there was a good selection of delicious restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this place! The lodge is surrounded by beautiful jungle, and during our stay we were lucky enough to see monkeys and even a sloth right from the property – such an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They always made us feel at home and were happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast and food were outstanding – everything was freshly prepared, delicious, and made with great care. We would definitely love to come back!

The lodge was super nice and in the middle of nature! We had a view of a sloth every morning and heard lots of animals. Breakfast is delicious; everything is clean, fresh and looks beautiful. The staff are incredibly friendly, especially Bryan. He provided us with all kinds of useful tips and is always ready for a chat.

We had an incredible stay at Satta Lodge! From the kind on-site staff, lovely breakfast, and the very clean and thoughtfully designed bungalows (daily cleaning service included!) - we greatly enjoyed our stay and were sad when we had to check-out. We were able to enjoy watching a troop of howler monkeys lounging in the trees on the property while eating the delicious and fresh breakfast, along with a few sloth sightings. Bryan was especially so helpful and gave us many great local tips. Although the bungalow does not have AC (as it is listed in the posting) - we learned to acclimate to the open air style bungalow. If you want a peaceful and fun experience - stay here!

A beautiful place to relax; in the mornings, you can hear the sounds of the animals, which makes it even more special.

I had an excellent experience at this accommodation in Puerto Viejo. The bungalow is located right in the middle of the jungle, making it a unique, peaceful place—perfect to disconnect and relax. The facilities had all the necessary comforts and everything was very well maintained. The breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Satta Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed by the hosts, who were not only warm and friendly but also very proactive in making sure we had everything we needed beforehand. The entire property is beautifully maintained and spotless – everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast: fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much care – the perfect start to each day. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Satta Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality experience in Puerto Viejo. We‘d love to come back!

Beautiful place to stay in stunning natural surroundings We had a very enjoyable stay at this special property. The complex is beautifully nestled in nature and offers a quiet, almost unique atmosphere. The furnishings are modern, stylish, and well thought out, so you feel at home right away. Particularly noteworthy was the breakfast, which was of very high quality and further enhanced the stay. A quick note for future guests: The noise level – especially early in the morning – can be a bit more intense due to the surrounding natural environment, which might be unfamiliar to European guests at first. Overall, however, it is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates nature, peace, and a special ambience.

Unfortunately, we only stayed at Satta Lodge for 3 days. It was a wonderful time and I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a beautiful stay. You could hear, and sometimes see monkeys in the trees. The atmosphere was very relaxing & soothing. And the people were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back.

We spent 3 nights in this accommodation and it was really amazing, in the heart of the forest and quiet, it feels good, clean accommodation!

The choice of breakfast is always the same (except juice and fruits). For longer stays, this was to be criticized. Wouldn't be a problem to offer other egg dishes with so few guests. Or Gallo pinto. But otherwise it was great!

We loved our stay here. The setting is very peaceful and in nature. We saw howler monkeys from the pool and spotted a sloth too. The breakfast was a big highlight, delicious and nice ambiance. Bryan was very responsive for coordinating anything. This place is away from the hustle and bustle of puerto viejo, but there are still some nice restaurants within a 20 min walking distance. If you’re sensitive to noise, might want ear plugs for the early morning howler monkeys and neighbouring dogs.
