Great place for families, private and immersed in nature with plenty to do. The kids loved the waterslide. We had a blast!
Host Response
Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re really happy to hear that your family had such a great time and that the kids loved the waterslide—it’s definitely a favorite for many of our younger guests. It means a lot to know you enjoyed the privacy and the natural surroundings as well. We’d love to host you and your family again for another fun getaway in the jungle!

The place is not divine aesthetically, it is simple with respect to the rooms, however to go with the kids it is ideal, it is a place with many animals, we managed to see monkeys very closely, playing among them. The slide and the place is a paradise for the kids, they will definitely have a good time. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds are large and comfortable, the sheets are also and we had a great time! If you go with children, you will definitely enjoy it a lot. I highly recommend it

The Tarzan Jungle Home was a fun place. The pool and waterslide was a fabulous way to cool off at the end of the day. The beds are hard, but cozy. The Air Conditioning was heavenly. We saw so many animals on the property; frogs, iguanas, birds, one cockroach, squirrels, and yes…. Monkeys. The only negative is that the house is in the center of the palm forest that they are constantly chopping down- so when you can’t hear the cicadas, you hear chain saws.

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVED our stay at the Tarzan Jungle Home! It was by far our favorite place we stayed on our trip to Costa Rica, and we even ended up extending our stay there. It is such a cool space and you can tell they have put a lot of time and effort in the property and it’s surroundings. The zipline and water slide were great additions and definitely made us feel like it was worth every penny spent. Also, the property manager Marlyn is amazing and so very helpful and responsive, as is the host Paul👍🏼 We would 10 out of 10 recommend and stay here again on our next trip!

The Tarzan house was amazing, very spacious and clean, the spring water for drinking and bathing was definitely a plus, the swimming pool and jacuzzi was always clean and the groundskeeper always cycled the water daily & was very friendly, the scenery and all the foliage was breathtaking and the noises at night made you feel like you are one with nature definitely Tropical Paradise, it's not hard to find with map quest & loved being off the beatin path for a quite romantic stay , although wifi wasn't working was not a deal breaker ,would highly recommend to anyone looking for a adventurous relaxing stay we will definitely return and maybe bring the whole family for a fun relaxing weekend.. Thanks Paul...

Paul's place was fantastic overall. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we had visits from toucans, iguanas, and monkeys. The pools and waterslide are great for kids and the setup is perfect if you want to relax at the airbnb. Yet it is also close enough to Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Esterillos Oeste, and other beaches to be able to make day trips. Really great stay, just what we were looking for!

The communication prior to arrival and flexibility was excellent. We changed our date and accommodations a few times with no issues, thank you. The location was so peaceful and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Please note the outdoor Jacuzzi is not hot, and the zip line is not in operation, both a bit disappointing.

Paul is an incredible host! He is easy to communicate with and was more than helpful and accommodating to us during our stay!! His management staff visited daily to maintain the pool and were friendly and helpful as well! There is good separation between the multiple suites on the property with large shared spaces that accommodate small or large groups. I would recommend this property for large groups of friends and families as it’s easy to have fun together and also find your own space. There is lots of wildlife, especially iguanas but no need to worry! They keep their distance from you and it’s fun to see them in the trees, climbing to the roofs and sunbathing!! Use google maps to find the location.

This place is delightful! It truly feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle. My husband and I enjoyed a sunset swim and sliding down the slide, and we saw lots of wildlife! Very charming, definitely recommend!

Tarzan House is a unique and fun Airbnb experience. Our kids loved the pool and slide. We were in the top floor guest suite with a comfy huge king bed, queen bed and futon-like single bed. The kitchen was well equipped, we enjoyed the jacuzzi hot tub in the bathroom and used the gas bbq. There is an oven also. Juan Carlos was incredibly welcoming. We hadn’t realised the accommodation was part of a complex with multiple different guests - I think 4 separate units. We were there on New Year’s Eve so the other guests were quite rightly having good fun. We could hear a bit of music but it wasn’t too loud at all and the other guests were friendly. We found the place fairly easily. Google maps took us very close - we proceeded a bit around corner to the right and saw a sign on the right. It’s a dirt road in as you can see in the video, but the road was ok. We would return and would love to have time to go to the animal reserve nearby!

Fabulous place for kids and super unique. My girls wore themselves out running up and down to go on the slide. We saw a flying squirrel (jumped super high), vulchers, fire flies, butterflies, and humming birds. The night jungle noises were incredible. The place was no resort, a little dated but that was part of the appeal. Beds comfy and bathroom is nice and big.Juan Carlos was a delight, so sweet and helpful. It is a bit off the beaten path which was great for us. It was about 15 mins from the town of Quepos, cute little town and about 30 minds from Manual Antonio. This part was our favorite part of the trip. We saw sloths, monkeys, bats, and several other creatures... get a guide worth the extra money. We used Planet Dolphin (link below) and did their combo tour. It was amazing!!! Place is fully equipped with anything you need for cooking, grill, coffee maker, stove, etc. Thanks for an epic adventure! https://fareharbor.com/embeds/book/planetdolphin/?full-items=yes&u=8571cb4c-d333-4f4f-8a4c-da3498867bc4&from-ssl=yes&back=https://planetdolphin.com/
