Stay with Lizzeth And Mark

Lizzeth and Mark were great hosts. The cooking was amazing. We felt at home. We loved getting the experience of living with a local family and understanding more about Nicaragua.

Excellent stay in this house! Exactly such as in the description; simple but nice! Lizzeth helped us straight away when we came and was very friendly! Would definitely come back!

A great Place to stay on the island. Mark is a very nice host. He gave very good tips and helped us organizing scooters and a volcano-tour (Diego was the guides name. We can totally recommend him. Nice guy!). It is a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and you feel like a part of the family. The animals belonging to the house are also adorable and the traditional food is delicious.

Mark's Hostel was really lovely. There is an open outdoor area where guests can hang out in rocking chairs, in hammocks or regular tables. Everything was really clean, Mark was always ready to help and they even prepared our meals according to our needs (vegan / lactose-intolerant). We had a wonderful time!

We LOVED this place.... one of our highlights... it’s a hostel so it’s basic but very clean. Food is good with generous portions, Mark the host is wonderful, there’s a communal area for chilling where we whiled away the evenings.... and the food and beverages are very cheap.... we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
