It was a very pleasant stay at Rain Ecolodge. The hosts are very friendly, the location is great, especially when you are on your own and look for a quiet place to disconnect. The Centro Biológico nearby is great for hiking and has a beautiful waterfall. You can bring your own food and don’t be afraid of spiders ;). I can really recommend this place.

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The accommodations are simple but plenty comfortable, and the property is incredible. The managers Tarky and Nicole showed us around the property (so much space, epic mountain views, so much food growing!), took us on a tour of the biological reserve next door (amazing organization, epic waterfalls and real jungle trails without tourists), and made us really good "comida tipica" for just a few bucks per meal. It was nice to have access to the kitchen, too. If you're looking for a quiet place to go deep with the land, experience the jungle/mountains and have a taste of the Costa Rican countryside, this is it. We also went home with a bag of coffee from the coffee plants outside our room and it's the best I've had in a long, long time!

Rain Ecolodge; this is an idyllic place in the green mountains. Just a few minutes walk away, there is a nature park that is not crowded with jungle, small waterfalls and beautiful hiking trails in the mountains. A pleasant place to watch animals, enjoy tranquility and be able to switch off from everyday life!

This is a great quiet place up in the hills to stop and do nothing or to take some good bushwalks in the local natural reserve next door. Lots of animals and birds about the place.

Lovely place surrounded by stunning nature. Great hospitality, lovely breakfast, beautiful coffee and a gorgeous biological park right next to the farm, don't miss a chance to go there! Just a note that to reach the place I'd suggest going with 4x4:)

I couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Ernesto made sure that all my needs were met. Also, the place itself is a rare gem. It’s lush and there’s wildlife everywhere, it’s a great place for those that need a break from society and want to connect with nature
