It was a very pleasant stay at Rain Ecolodge. The hosts are very friendly, the location is great, especially when you are on your own and look for a quiet place to disconnect. The Centro Biológico nearby is great for hiking and has a beautiful waterfall. You can bring your own food and don’t be afraid of spiders ;). I can really recommend this place.

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The accommodations are simple but plenty comfortable, and the property is incredible. The managers Tarky and Nicole showed us around the property (so much space, epic mountain views, so much food growing!), took us on a tour of the biological reserve next door (amazing organization, epic waterfalls and real jungle trails without tourists), and made us really good "comida tipica" for just a few bucks per meal. It was nice to have access to the kitchen, too. If you're looking for a quiet place to go deep with the land, experience the jungle/mountains and have a taste of the Costa Rican countryside, this is it. We also went home with a bag of coffee from the coffee plants outside our room and it's the best I've had in a long, long time!

Very nice place , country area , lots of birds . The cabins clean , nice beds , the only thing that the walls are very thin and noises are heard very easy . The rest nice they give a good tipical breakfast, Gallo pinto coffe etc . Bring some extra food if you want , because there is a kitchen, no microwave , but stove refrigerator , coffe maker etc . Nice climate and cuiet if you don’t mind the noices of the cows, birds, ruster .
