3BR Villa in Nicoya

Teresa

Good, 3 weeks ago

The house is very comfortable and bright. Close to everything and at the same time secluded. The only observation is that, being behind the Somos hotel, on Saturday night there was very loud music that made it impossible to sleep, and it went on until 1 am.

A very nice place. Unfortunately, the first night the air conditioning in one room did not work, but they were very attentive and the next day they fixed it. I'm not giving it 5 stars because of that and because the master bedroom was humid and there were no kitchen utensils, such as a microwave, rice cooker, etc. Also, the parking for a large car was very inconvenient. The car had to stay outside, but everything else was very good. They were very attentive to everything.

Here’s a polished, natural-sounding review you can copy/paste directly into Airbnb or Google Maps: ⸻ ★★★★★ 5/5 — Amazing stay at Casa Ines We had an incredible day at Casa Ines in Santa Teresa. The location couldn’t be better — it’s just a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever visited. The water was clear, the sand was soft, and the whole area had such a relaxed, laid-back vibe. The Airbnb itself was in a great spot, close to really good restaurants, breakfast cafés, and coffee shops. Everything we needed was nearby and easy to reach on foot, which made the day even better. Santa Teresa is an amazing place, and we would highly recommend both the area and Casa Ines to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway. We’d absolutely stay here again.

The property has potential, but we faced significant issues. Unfortunately, raccoons entered the pool every single night and left feces, which made the pool unusable during our entire stay. By the time it was removed from the pool, the feces had already dissolved in the water. The owner told us it was “safe to swim if we don’t drink the water, from the pool” and "it is nature and we cannot control it." which was shocking and dismissive of the health risk. The host was kind and apologetic, but no real solution was provided during our stay. Other issues: one bedroom smelled strongly of humidity, and the host admitted she was already aware of it. Many of the pans in the kitchen were scratched and not in good condition. Although Airbnb later gave us a partial refund (30%), it did not really compensate for losing the main amenity we booked the house for. Future guests should be aware of the ongoing raccoon problem in the pool and the lack of meaningful resolution on the owner’s part.
