We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location is perfect if you’re looking for an escape from the city and all the noise. It’s peaceful and tranquil, with the relaxing sound of the ocean in the background. The beach is beautiful, clean, and feels almost completely private. During our stay, we barely saw anyone, which made the experience even more special. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy nature. If I had the chance to come back again, I would do it in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

The place was a little hard to find but once we got there we loved it. The space is beautiful, the pool was clean and the private beach access was incredible. Perfect for watching the sunset and soaking in the sun. Julio and Maria were super friendly and helpful as well :) Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful beach front property (tree house :)

As always, everything was perfect

We rented the house because we had a wedding on Playa Coco with friends who live on the beach. It was just as I’d hoped! We love the quaintness, the feeling of openness and the grounds were amazing! Felt like we lived in a tree house! Julio and Maria were extremely attentive and made us feel safe. They were fast to fix anything we needed. The grounds were well maintained as was the pool! We wanted a house with a pool despite being on the beach and it was perfect. You could look at the beautiful beach and relax in pool. We enjoyed our daily walks of the beach and going to the secret cove around the rocks! We saw multiple turtle releases and even saved one turtle alone in the beach one day! Absolutely an amazing trip! This was my 3rd time to San Juan del Sur and Playa Coco and I’m sure we will be back! Only thing that upset us was finding plastics washed up on the beach. Unfortunately this is routine for impoverished countries. So we took a small bag to clean up on our walks. Proactive

The house is amazing, you have access to the beach right in front of you, only recommendation for anybody is to bring your own food from a local supermarket as there is an hour drive off road(4x4 recommended) after reaching san juan, the place is very private, you have the beach for yourself, the house is very clean, enough rooms, and spacious. Local housekeeper was very useful as he can go buy you items at extra cost while you enjoy your time, final score 10/10.

Casa Mafalda is a unique place, in this beautiful beach, it feels a tranquility, peace, and being surrounded by trees and vegetation , next to the cottage, in front of the beach, it does better, we had a great time, both María Elena and Julio and doña María, very attentive to everything, we are going back
