Excellent place!

Our stay was wonderful—it truly felt like a home away from home. The space was warm, inviting, and exceptionally well maintained. It was thoughtfully designed to accommodate guests of all ages, making everyone feel comfortable. The nearby river provided a peaceful setting, and the farm animals added a unique charm that made the experience even more special. A delightful bonus was receiving fresh eggs every morning, which made our breakfasts feel extra special and added to the authentic farm experience. Above all, the host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made a lasting impression. Overall, this was a memorable vacation, and we would gladly stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming getaway.

This place was exactly what we needed. We have six children and they loved all the animals (except the early morning wake up by the rooster 😂) , the river, the grass field to play soccer, and the fooseball table. The fresh eggs every morning were wonderful. Very safe, very peaceful very private. Close to las Paz waterfall gardens, the volcano, and reasonable distance to bajos del toro.

Great place to stay near various tourist attractions in Poas. The grounds and surrounding area were beautiful and peaceful. The house has big screened windows that allowed us to enjoy the lovely breezes that came by and kept the house at a comfortable temperature. The beds were clean and overall pretty comfortable. Keep in mind there is only one bathroom, but with coordination you can make do. Our hosts were communicative and friendly, and they provided us with a few lovely treats (including fresh eggs). The only unexpected con we experienced was weather related. One night of our stay had incredibly strong winds that rattled the windows and made a lot of noise. As such, we had a really hard time sleeping in the upstairs area that night. We understand that weather cannot be controlled, but still think it's important to mention in case any light sleepers are considering this stay and may need to bring some ear plugs. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting Poas.

We enjoyed our stay! Very clean, nice beds and everything we needed. We enjoyed seeing the plants on the property and exploring the path to the water in the back. Our daughter enjoyed chatting with the man who cares for the farm. On the last day he left us a little eucalyptus bouquet- so sweet!

My family and I stayed here for 5 days. It was a beautiful place full of fruit trees and lots of beautiful plants. The gentleman who manages the estate is a wonderful person; I forgot his name. He brought us fresh eggs every morning, and the first morning he let us go into the farm and explore. Behind the house, there is a river with a beautiful waterfall; it's worth visiting. We recommend this place 10/10

We had the opportunity to stay this weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. It's a beautiful house, surrounded by nature, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The hosts were always attentive and focused on every detail. Every morning, they surprised us with a basket of eggs, a lovely touch that made our stay even more special. The house was spotless: clean and very well organized. Breathing the mountain air is truly invigorating. Without a doubt, it's a perfect place to spend a few days relaxing. Also, it's easy to get to and feels very safe. Highly recommended!

Irma is an incredible host, and the property is absolutely amazing! It has everything you need for a perfect stay from the refreshing mountain breeze to the peaceful sound of the river at the edge of the property. The fresh eggs every morning were such a special touch. My daughters had an amazing time with the bunnies and hens. Highly recommend!

Irma's place is wonderful! My kids loved meeting the bunnies and eating the fresh eggs and we had plenty of space to spread out as a family of 6. We felt very secure and the welcome instructions showed us exactly how to open each lock box or keypad. The house doesn't have air conditioning which we somehow missed in the description and we were worried it would be hot but we felt great the whole time! Just closed the curtains during the day and cracked the windows at night to let in the mountain breeze. Irma is responsive and gave great restaurant recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The area is very quiet and surrounded by nature, which was perfect, as it was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were very attentive and helpful, so my family would not hesitate to return.

Our stay was fantastic. They welcomed us very warmly, even with a little gift for my daughters, who were celebrating their birthdays. They loved it!! In the morning, opening the door and finding a basket of fresh eggs... it made us feel right at home!! The house was spotless, as shown in the pictures. We will definitely stay at this beautiful house again!!

We enjoyed our stay at this house very much, where we were very comfortable. It's spacious, clean, well-equipped. The garden and surrounding grounds are very pleasant too, and the children were happy to be able to play outside. Irma is a thoughtful host and responded quickly to any questions we had.
