Scott and Rebekah were excellent hosts! Very responsive with any questions we had and their recommendations for activities and restaurants were perfect for our family. Their home is beautiful and we felt comfortable the moment we walked in.

Had a great week staying at this house. Pool was amazing and the outdoor shower was great! Also saw lots of birds, iguanas, deer and even a few monkeys.

If you are looking for a perfect vacation in Costa Rica - do not search anymore- this is the place you want to stay . I cannot say enough about the hosts. Rebekah answered thousands of questions I had and was so helpful before and throughout the stay . The place is beautiful, peaceful, plenty of space, kitchen has everything you need. We spent a lot of time swimming, eating and sitting outside . We visited few beaches but the closest Matapalo beach was our favorite. Very quiet, for some reason water was warmer at this beach. We loved it We went to most of the restaurants recommended by Rebekah but our favorites were the little ones: Hellohanny , Bee’s bistro and El Guanacaste . The most special part of our trip: the people Rebakah connected us with: Gustavo, Chicko and Diego . They are the most sincere people we have met. I strongly recommend trips with Gustavo. He does everything to make sure you have a wonderful time.

Pura Vida works for everything positive in Costa Rica but one meaning is no worries. The hosts did not know it but I am battling cancer and was in between treatments so having a “no worries” vacation is exactly what me and my family needed. There were five of us; the house was perfect. The primary bedroom was huge with an equally impressive bathroom. The two bedrooms upstairs were also perfect for our son/DIL and granddaughter. The kitchen had everything you need for someone like our son who is a chef. Pots, pans, blenders, and every utensil on the planet made it a chefs vacation dream. The outdoor kitchen was also great; we ate every meal out there. The pool is very big; we ended up in there most days after beach time, waterfall hikes, zip lining, catamaran rides, etc. They can arrange all of this for you. Overall I’d highly recommend this place.

Casa de la Selva is a beautiful home: even better than the photos! Gustavo and Chico were very friendly and helpful and the guidebook that Rebekah, Scott and Andrew provide is full of helpful tips and ideas: beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, activities, etc. They were also super-responsive when we had issues and questions. The pool was the perfect temperature and the kitchen was well-stocked. The views were amazing and we saw lots of wildlife and heard howler monkeys at night. The house is very remote, but it is nice to have Bee's Bistro as an option at the bottom of the hill, which is walkable, if you aren't afraid of a hike, and a super-short drive if that is your preference. We would definitely stay at Casa de la Selva again if we return to Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

This home is just as great as the pictures. This community offers extreme privacy with a deep connection to nature. It is a very hilly community so maybe not the best for walking around. Recommend a four wheel drive vehicle. It is amazing for privacy and views and being safe in a gated community. Close to many beaches and quality excursions. Le Leona waterfall is a great trip for a family adventure. The community has a shared pool at the top with some of the most incredible views. Howler monkeys came right up to the trees beside our place. Many lizards. Great hospitality, pre order groceries, had a meal prepared also for us. By local restaurant. Lots of quality choices available to enhance your stay or amazing as it is. Excellent kitchen and outdoor cooking area. Great pool and my favorite is the outdoor shower. Any small issues are immediately addressed and I highly recommend this to all who are looking for extremely private nature excursion.

Rebekah and Scott were amazing hosts. Very detailed information on what to do in the area from beaches to food close by. Their recommended chef was amazing and true to the local cuisine. Their activities guide was amazing with a private snorkel and fishing day with sunset. Very private gated community. We would definitely recommend their home

The villa fealt very safe being inside a gated development. We were greeted by Chico at the gate when we arrived and he led us to the villa and went through it with us. He was readily availble for anything we might need during our stay. The kitchen was welll stocked with everything we needed and the house was very clean. The air conditioning worked well. We spent a lot of time using the pool and bbq area. There was a lot of space for our family of 5 to spread out. We would recomend doing a large grocery haul at the PriceSmart before going to the Villa to set yourself up for your stay. Close proximity to many beaches. We were glad we had a vehicle while staying here.

Very kind people and the property manger was outstanding

We stayed here with our two young children and enjoyed it very much. We went boating and drove to several close beaches. It was a wonderful place to be. Safe and accommodating.

We came as a family of four. We loved the home and the pool. It was beautiful. It’s no joke you absolutely need a four wheel drive vehicle to access this property. Also prepare yourself for the roads in this area. Pothole city. Loved the welcome basket and small touches that made life easier (beach towns/shampoo etc). The communication was great and we had a wonderful time. PURE VIDA!

Wow what an incredible and cozy stay! This was my birthday trip, and Rebekah, Gustavo, and Maricela went above and beyond, the home and pool area were beautifully decorated with balloons and even a cake, which made everything feel so special. The location was perfect for us since we were looking for adventure. We enjoyed morning hikes on the unpaved roads just outside the home, a perfect start to the day. The house is beautiful, with stunning views of the trees and mountains. The pool was the perfect temperature, and a kind man came by twice during our stay to keep it spotless. As someone who loves to cook, I was amazed by the kitchen, fully stocked with every seasoning and cooking oil imaginable. We only needed a quick grocery trip for basics like eggs, bread, cold cuts, etc. Gustavo helped us with excursions and transportation and was super helpful and responsive. Rebekah was also incredibly responsive before and after the trip. Overall, a spectacular and unforgettable experience!

Scott and Rebekah's home is truly spectacular. If you're considering booking this place, do not hesitate. You will fall in love the moment you step inside. The house is designed perfectly. Every morning was beautiful; sitting outside and enjoying the view while listening to the birds while having coffee or a morning swim felt like paradise. One of the best places I have ever had the pleasure of staying!

Casa de la Selva is an absolutely stunning property! Beautiful surroundings, gorgeous pool and outdoor space. We loved having the howler monkeys and birds wake us up every morning. The house itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, leaving us everything we needed to cook the entire week. Hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful. Hector was phenomenal at welcoming us to the villa and showing us around. A 4x4 vehicle is an absolutely must, but we got used to the rugged terrain and even learned to enjoy it! We did a fishing trip and beach fish fry with Gustavo and it was definitely a highlight of our trip! The gated property made us feel extremely safe. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here, particularly if you want an adventurous and authentic experience.
