Casa Horizontes Corcovado

Wow!!! Be warned, this is a real GEM. The accommodation has an EXCEPTIONAL view of the bay, 4 perfectly clean bedrooms with bathrooms in excellent condition. The kitchen is particularly well equipped for an Airbnb. The hosts are so helpful with everything. Very nice. Laundry service. Beds made and tidying done every day (!!!). Very quiet, a slice of heaven.

Casa Horizontes is incredible. we watched toucans and macaws motmots and other birds each morning from the balcony. they helped book local tours for us and great breakfast and recommendations. also everyone was so friendly.

Our party of eight (two families of four) stayed here for 5 nights and we all agreed that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. This house is one of a few on one larger property hosted by a local family who live on the property as well. The house was spotless (with daily housekeeping available) and comfortable, the layout was perfect for a large group like ours to be all together and the main outdoor living area has an absolutely gorgeous view, perfect for watching wildlife and beautiful sunsets. The hosts, though, were the part that made this stay so special. They were both very helpful and incredibly kind. They helped us arrange tours and activities, provided recommendations for activities and made us feel so at home, welcomed and really cared about the quality of our visit to the area. And the optional breakfast available was delicious! We all highly recommend staying here!

Yami, Pedro, and Grethel were all welcoming, accommodating, and willing to go out of their way to provide excellent service. The rental unit is attractive, has effective AC and fans, and has a wonderful balcony where you can see wildlife and the beautiful view of the bay. It was quiet, comfortable, and safe. The breakfast was tasty (though a bit pricey), the laundry service convenient (though also a bit pricey), and they were willing to not only store our luggage when we did an overnight trip to Sirena Station, but brought it down to the beach for us too. They also met us at the beach, drove us up to the house, and served us fruit to welcome us. We hope to be able to return and spend more time there.

Beautiful, quiet house. The owners are extremely kind. I would recommend it without hesitation!!!

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The spacious open air deck and dining area was perfect for viewing wildlife in the lovely tropical garden surrounding the house. The air conditioners in the bedrooms worked really well and were much appreciated on warm nights. There was daily housekeeping, which we were not expecting, and always plenty of drinking water. The host was so friendly and accomodating! We left something on the boat from Corcovado and she was able to track it down for us. We would love to return someday!

We had an amazing stay! Communication was great even before we arrived. we got help booking tours to Corcovado Nationalpark and Snorkeling (and the tour operators they recommended were also great) and even everything went well. The place is very clean and gets cleaned every day. The view from the terrace is wonderful with lots of birds including toucans and aras flying by. The location is also very central. It’s only a short steep hill but everything very close. We can definitely recommend staying here :)

Wow. This is easily the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The room is comfortable and cool (fans and AC) and has a small kitchen and a beautiful porch with a hammock. It is tucked into the trees high above Drake Bay, has an amazing view, and is surrounded by songbirds and lovely forest. It is sublime. But what truly makes this place shine are the incredible hosts. Yami and Pedro are amazing. We were met at our boat and transported to the house by Pedro, then upon arrival Yami served fresh fruit, cookies, and cold lemonade. After a long hot day of travel we were in heaven. I would return to Costa Rica from half way around the world just to stay another night with these kind and wonderful people . Highly highly recommended!

One of the most magical places I have ever stayed. The view of Drake's bay is stunning and the home is surrounded by flowers, lush greenery and tropical birds. Its a short (2 to 3 minutes) walk down the hill to the main beach and several restaurants including an excellent Italian restaurant. Its another 5 minute walk to the main part of town with stores and more restuarants. Note that is a short but steep walk back up the hill. The hosts picked us up at the boat and drove us and our luggage uphill and then drove us at the end of our stay. Hosts were incredibly responsive and hlepful includnig providing a 5:20 am (!!!) breakfast the morning we went to Corcovado. And the surroundings are magical - view, flowers, birds, and jungle. I'm already plotting to go back.

The property of the kind-hearted couple Yami and Pedro is beautifully located, high above the Playa Drake on the edge of the Corcovado Nature Reserve. The access to the house was a bit adventurous for us, a four-wheel drive vehicle is a great advantage. For this you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the sea and nature. The great refuge, already a bit older, offers everything to feel comfortable. On the large terrace you can linger and relax wonderfully. Gretel, the contact person, can be reached at any time, organizes tours and proactively solves every problem in no time. For us, the absolute highlight was breakfast on the open terrace. We were able to observe iguanas, toucans, macaws and other birds up close here during the meal :-) Yami, Pedro and their team are looking after their guests in a touching way. We can't wait to see you next time!

A truly spectacular house in one of the world’s most gorgeous locations. The host was communicative, kind, and even laid out some delicious fresh fruit up upon our arrival I could not recommend this place enough for your stay in Drake Bay.

The house has a beautiful view of Drake Bay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It's on top of a hill, you have to climb quite a bit, but the view is worth it.

Fantastic place for our group. The house is beautiful and we spent many hours watching the birds with the view of the bay behind. The hosts are amazing! They went above and beyond to make our boat reservations, meet us at the boat, drive us down the steep rugged hill to get groceries, help us with laundry, and so much more. We had a wonderful stay and I hope to be back again some day.

The home sits at the top of the south end of Bahia Drake. The home has immaculate views of the bay and was very comfortable and clean. Hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Probably one of the cooler locations I have ever stayed. A friend in our group lost his credit card, and the locals had found it and texted throughout town to try and find him to give it back. Would stay here again in an heart beat. It it’s so beautiful and peaceful. MUY tranquillo
