We had a great stay. Beautiful clean and comfortable cottage in a tropical and quiet area, very nice infinity pool and surroundings filled with wildlife. Alex is an excellent host. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the house. The pool is steps away, which my kids loved. The beds were comfortable, house safe and comfortable as well. We would absolutely stay here again!!

This is an awesome place to stay off the beaten path. Very clean, everything that you need, very quiet community. We used it as a hub for day trips around the area. Close to a few great local restaurants. The pool and community are a bit run down and past their prime, and there’s not much to do within walking distance, but I only mention that if you’re looking for somewhere to stay during the day. That’s not what we needed, so it was perfect for us.

We had an excellent stay. The place was amazing: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing trip. The pool was a real highlight, just steps from the house, and we used it often. The home itself was very well equipped, and having a washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher was a genuine bonus, especially for a longer stay. One practical note: you will want a vehicle. Getting around is straightforward, but it is not the kind of spot where you can rely on walking everywhere. The main tourist areas are a bit of a drive but the roads were decent and I didn't mind the very scenic drive. That said, the location was ideal for us. It is close to several hidden gem destinations and felt pleasantly removed from the busiest tourist areas, which made outings more enjoyable. Groceries were convenient to access, and there were also good restaurants nearby. Overall, a great base for exploring while still feeling safe and private. Definitely would stay here again!

I love this place! The coupla was so cool and great for wildlife viewing. Perfect space for 5 of us. And holy moly so many tucans! We saw monkeys and an armadillo. Had everything we needed for our stay. It’s a bit of a drive to montreverde, arenal or Rincon though. Tronadora has a few good restaurants though and tilaran has a lot to offer.

Beautiful tropical location.

We had such a great stay at this lakeview cottage! The place feels super safe with security and it’s nice and quiet at night. The cottage itself is cute, very clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen. The pool is huge and has the most amazing view of the lake and mountains. Alex was a fantastic host. His instructions were clear, and his recommendations for food and places to visit were spot on. We’ve also stayed at one of his other properties, and he’s always been quick to respond and very thoughtful with his suggestions. The area is peaceful, and you can see the lake right from the house. Such a lovely spot to relax for a few days.

Very nice accommodation, clean and very well equipped with beautiful view on Lake Arenal. The pool is shared but we were often alone. Alexandre sends us all the information required for the accommodation and is very responsive if needed. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a great time in this charming house, there is a nice view of the lake. We had everything we needed in terms of equipment. The residence is secure and offers a shared pool. The birds are there every morning and you only need to walk around the residence to observe several species. We even saw a sloth on the first day. In summary, we are very happy with our stay.
