Hard to overstate how special this place is. Waking up surrounded by jungle — the sounds alone in the early morning are worth the trip — and the property manages to feel completely immersed in it while still being comfortable and well cared for. It’s the kind of setting you don’t want to leave, and we didn’t much. The staff were incredible. Attentive without ever hovering, quick with recommendations, and genuinely warm every single day. They made the whole stay feel effortless. The private chef experiences were a highlight. Fresh, thoughtful, beautifully done, and eating that well in that setting is something we’re still talking about. If you’re on the fence about booking those, don’t be. Would come back without hesitation.

We had an amazing stay while in Nosara. The house is gorgeous with amazing views and everything you need for the kitchen. We loved lying by the pool watching the sunset or reading early in the morning on the comfy chairs on the 3rd floor porch overlooking the ocean. It’s gets really hot on the 3rd floor landing but the master bedroom has its own mini split so it stays cold. Just keep the bedroom doors shut to keep the cold air in :). The road to get to the house is really bad with lots of potholes. We didn’t care for the drive but well worth it once you got there. I was hoping the walk to the beach would be closer. It’s a bit steep to walk up and down the gravel road but an easy drive. If you are looking for a relaxing get away with a close drive to lots of restaurants and shops this is great— 7 min drive. If you are trying to be within walking distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants I recommend staying in Playa Guiones.

Such a magical house in a magical setting! Our family was just blown away by the incredible treetop and ocean views, the surrounding wildlife and the beautiful house itself with so many thoughtful natural elements woven in. The kitchen had everything our family of 4 needed, rooms are spacious and comfortable, the town of Nosara is so close, and the host and the weeklong vacation concierge host were both so friendly and helpful. We're bringing home such good memories from our week, thank you!

From the moment we walked into Ross and Dani’s home we felt relaxed and at ease. The main floor has a spacious living and dining area with a full bathroom and laundry facilities. The space opens out onto a large patio with an infinity pool and plenty of seating and lounging, and beautiful views of the ocean. There are plenty of pool and beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and dishes and cooking tools to enjoy making meals. Full sized washer/dryer, laundry soap, and a drying rack are available as well. The second and third level bedrooms all have access to outside deck areas with the third level deck space equipped with a bbq, small fridge, eating, and lounge space. Bathrooms were spotless, plenty of available towels, and hair dryers were available. The views from each of the decks were stunning, especially during sunsets. There are plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained! From tropical birds, iguanas, squirrels, and howler monkeys, it was amazing!

Ross and Dani’s home is beautifully built for the area. Walkable or short ride to beaches or town activities. Clean and spacious for the entire family. Very happy with our stay and would recommend to others.

We loved Casa Pochote!!! The view is unbelievable. The layout of the house is very function with indoor and outdoor integrate space. The kitchen is fully stoked and we had some amazing steaks grilled on the 3rd floor. My hubby took advantage of the working spaces that are on every floor. The pool is spectacular with the pochote tree providing the right amount of shade. You can see all the stars at night. The monkey tribe came to visit us and a parade of 80 howlers just kept jumping from branch to branch. The location of the house is one of our most favorite places on earth. We came to Nosara 9 years ago and this hill was the first place we went to. We definitely will look to rent this house again on our travels and we can not recommend it enough.

We were so fortunate to spend a week at Ross and Dani’s amazing villa. It has everything you want if you are looking for a wonderful beach experience: fantastic view, great swimming pool and extremely clean and practical house. Location is great in pelada: quiet whilst close to the action. We will definitely come back.

My family had a great time staying at this property. The space was comfortable nestled on a mountain with surrounding jungle. We saw howlers, iguanas, numerous different birds and other wildlife. It was extremely comfortable for our family of 5. The property managers were extremely helpful and very responsive. The property felt safe and it was close to pelada and guiones, although I do recommend a hold cart to get around (or some other vehicle. Highly recommend and we will likely stay here again.

We stayed 10 days at Ross and Dani's house and it was perfection! The house far exceeded our expectations, it was clean with lots of room, and every window and slider had screens. They even had a cleaner come halfway through our stay which was a nice bonus. Although you do need a car if you're staying in the area, we were able to walk down the hill to Playa Pelada which is a beautiful, quiet beach with lots of great places to eat. Ross and his staff went beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. We forgot our passports in the safe when we checked out and they had someone on the road to drive them three hours to us at 10pm within 30 min of receiving my panicked text. We highly recommend this house for your trip to Nosara, you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to go back!

We just spent a fantastic week at Villa Pochote and could not be happier with the space - it was perfect for our group with plenty of space and a large, open kitchen and dining area that opened to the pool where we spent our evenings. The home is beautiful, spotless, breezy and spacious and the kitchen has nice cookware, dishes and all the appliances needed for making meals and entertaining. The views of the ocean and jungle are great from all levels of the house and there is a nice grilling deck and gathering space on the top floor too. We saw lots of local wildlife up close (but not too close!) and the home has a private courtyard entry with an outdoor shower to go from the beach (a 5-10 minute walk away) straight to the pool. There is also a nice hotel just a short walk up the road with great sunset views of the river and coastline for evenings when you don't want to cook. The home surpassed our expectations and we are all looking forward to a return trip as soon as possible!

Such an amazing place! We come many times to Pelada every year and by far this was our favorite place to stay. So quiet and great views. Truly wonderful!

Incredible space, great location, everything we needed for a great time in Nosara. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about stay! One thing to note is that the beds are VERY firm. If you aren’t comfortable (like one in our party) on a firm mattress it might be an issue! Outside of that a phenomenal place!

The photos honestly don’t do justice to the view. This is an incredible place with a really helpful and responsive team providing support. We had a family of 5 and were very comfortable and felt secure with the robust security measures in place. The pool is bigger than the photos indicate and the kitchen is very well-equipped. Note: the road is pretty rough leading up to the property (pretty much the case everywhere in Nosara) so an SUV or pickup is recommended; however, when I go back I will rent a side by side ATV. It’s the most fun and easy way to get around. Highly recommend this place and we hope to return.
