Casa Leona was a great place to stay during our time in Tamarindo. Our group loved gathering around the private pool at night to wind down after the hustle and bustle of the town.

Casa Leona was an amazing place to stay. My family and I had a private place to gather and enjoy the pool while having our own individual rooms and bathrooms to retreat to when needed. Within walking distance to the beach and shopping. Friendly staff and amazing place.

Everything was great. Perhaps a small issue was that we were without water for hours in the morning, which made it difficult for us to cook, bathe, and so on, but other than that, it was the perfect place to spend time with friends, and the rooms and the space were very nice.

We loved everything about this home! We were a family of 8 and everyone had their private bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms were all very comfortable. The place was very clean and we really enjoyed the private pool in the middle. Danielle is a great host and very responsive. We loved everything about it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you again

Incredible private space in a colonial style home as part of a larger gated complex - we felt very safe and set back. Incredible location right next to everything in downtown Tamarindo, near where the Thursday night market takes place. Our host was spectacular, super responsive, kind, helpful! The staff were AMAZING. I cannot speak more highly of them. As other reviews have mentioned, it's good to know that only one of the bathrooms has hot water!

What I loved most about our stay, is the unique architecture and layout of the house. We wanted to go to Costa Rica and stay in a place that felt local. It didn’t feel like resort. I feel like we got a taste of Costa Rica. I also felt very safe, and the place was very clean, and the staff was attentive on a daily basis. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you all.

Danielle was an amazing and such a responsive host! Always answering our questions and being so flexible with us! She helped up plan our transportation and was on top of everything. Her place is gorgeous, so clean, super safe and staff is incredible. Would totally stay here again, my friends and I loved it!
