What an incredible place to stay in La Fortuna! Absolutely beautiful, more than enough space for a group of 6 people to l have their own space. The pool, hot tub, and outdoor are even better in person than in the photos. Not to mention the beautiful views of Arenal and the lush landscape around it. Easy, walkable access to a market and a few restaurants, and a very quick drive to all of the amazing springs and downtown La Fortuna.

This place was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our family of 5. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and we loved that each room had its own bathroom attached. The view from the patio, pool and jacuzzi is stunning. We lucked out that the clouds cleared a couple times while we were there and we got a perfect view of the volcano. The forest is literally in the backyard and we really enjoyed exploring around the area and even got to see what I believe were howler monkeys swinging through the trees. The home is also within easy walking distance to some good restaurants and coffee shops which was wonderful because we didn’t rent a car. When we did our excursions and went into town it was a short uber drive. Our hosts were always in contact and ready to help. We would 💯 stay at this beautiful property again! This place was amazing! The view is remarkable. We only got to stay one of the nights due to our flight delays but from the moment we walked in we all said we were sad we couldn’t spend more time here. The pool and hot tub overlooking the volcano was magnificent. We hope to come back and will definitely stay here again!

Our family of 5 had a great stay. The kids were in the pool any chance they could. The individual bathrooms were convenient. We were worried the volcano wasn’t going to come out of the clouds but we had 1 perfect day. The location was also ideal for all the hiking and climbing adventures we went on. Nothing was more than a 15 minutes away.

The views were amazing, you can see the volcano from all rooms. The house was gorgeous. The pool, and hot tub was beautiful. Family of 5, with 3 pre-teens .

We would absolutely return! The location was perfect and the accommodation amazing. Very responsive staff even helping to jump our vehicle when the battery died. Loved, loved, loved this place.

Fabulous home just outside of La Fortuna with AMAZING views of Arenal Volcano!! Loved the set up, bedroom/en suite bathrooms! Hot tub, pool & Bbq pit were clutch for grilling & late night hang outs!! Everything we needed to cook at home was available. Extremely proactive hosts and super grateful for that!!

We had a great time at Villa Volkanika. Melany and her team were easy to work with and provided great information ahead of our stay and also during our stay. The house was beautiful, very modern and very clean. It was exactly as described. It is close to several restaurants and town, but does not suffer from the heavy traffic and noise of staying directly in town. The pool and hot tub were fantastic! The view of the volcano is excellent and we loved the folding glass doors that maximized the view. By the way, I saw some reviews about construction noise and noise from ATVs and horses passing by. Do not let those reviews bother you. There is construction of a house close by but the noise was minimal and nothing to worry about. As far as the ATVs and horses going by, it was not bothersome at all. We quite enjoyed waving at them and seeing them smile and have such a good time. That’s why you go to Fortuna, after all. We had an amazing stay at this property. The house was spotless and we loved how private it felt without being hard to get to, which was important for our large family group. The views of Arenal Volcano right from the property were absolutely breathtaking. La Fortuna is just a short drive away so we had easy access to everything. Our group ranged from little kids to grandparents and everyone was comfortable and had a great time. We would definitely come back and would recommend this to anyone visiting the Arenal area. One of the best parts of our Costa Rica trip!

The home is stunning with every attention to details. It was wonderful to have separate bedrooms and full bathrooms for everyone and lots of space to hang together. The beds were comfortable and views from every room just as pictured in the listing - amazing. Sitting in the pool or the jacuzzi is relaxing and great for bird watching. There are a few restaurants to walk to nearby, but downtown was also just a few miles away and the host provided many options with information about each - very helpful. Some also deliver. If you do go to town, we suggest parking in the main lot - $1/hour - that is fenced and has a person at the gate to watch. There are many adventures to sign up for within 20-30 minutes. The host also provided info about these. If you need to get some groceries, there is a Walmart sized store in town and many smaller family stores with great produce. We can't say enough about this home and location. Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed.

Great stay! Place was beautiful, clean and spacious. Hosts were very responsive with questions we had and sent a helpful welcome message with lots of good info for resources like restaurants and stores. We were fortunate to get a clear view of the volcano for a few hours our last morning but the property was amazing with lots of birds every morning even on the cloudy days. Pool and hot tub were great for relaxing after our adventures. Some of the other reviews mentioned construction and it is true that they are building more residences next to this property. Despite this, the layout of the patio area still allows for a feeling of privacy and the workers never felt in any way disrespectful or intrusive. Even on the mornings I slept in, there wasn't bothersome noise inside the bedrooms on the side of the house closest to the worksite. Don't let any mention of the construction make you miss out on this gem of a stay in the Arenal area!

Villa Volcanika is absolutely beautiful- the photos are spot on! It offers everything and more one can wish for and it’s super clean, comfortable, very private and stunning view of the volcano from every room and angle of the house - as well as from the infinity pool with heated jacuzzi! ! Melany and Diego are great hosts- very responsive, pro active in recommending fabulous restaurants etc. we had an amazing stay with our kids and grand kids!

This is a beautiful modern home with a fantastic front porch with pool/hot tub. We really enjoyed spending time out front relaxing and watching wildlife (we saw Tucans and many other awesome birds, toads, horses, etc). Unfortunately, as it was the rainy season, we never did get a clear view of the volcano from the home. That was disappointing. And it’s kind of busy around the property, as ATV tours drive by several times a day. But all in all it was a great property and worth the cost.
