We loved staying here and cannot wait to be back. The house is beautiful and incredibly well stocked as well as designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The pool was great and sparkling clean. Restaurants and the beach are all only a short walk. Highly recommend!

House was beautiful and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Stayed here with my family of 4 and my dad, plenty of room for everyone. Loved the pool! Easy access to the beach down the road and lots of local spots. Host was incredibly responsive and I had a lot of questions initially. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Playa Grande. Casa Zuma is gorgeous and filled with amenities. We felt safe, secure and loved being able to walk to the beach and local restaurants. Playa Grande is a quiet little beach town which we loved calling home for a week. Thanks to Josee and her co-hosts for a fantastic getaway with our family.

This was one of the nicest airbnb's we've ever stayed in. It is an amazing value for the quality and location. The host has thought of every possible amenity you might need for a Costa Rica/Playa Grande vacation and provided a high quality version of it. Josee as our host was a gem of a guy and was quick to answer any of our questions about the house and area. The coffee bar was a very nice surprise--aside from a normal coffee maker there was a great burr grinder and semi-automatic espresso machine. It rained quite a bit during out first three days but the covered patio made it very pleasant to enjoy the evenings outdoors as well as the well maintained pool. The house is about a 5 minute (flat) walk to Playa Grande on a well lit road by other businesses that made us feel very safe. Some areas of this neighborhood are very dark and hilly. Every room had it's own mini split A/C unit but with the high ceilings and ceiling fans the house did not need A/C 24/7.

We had the most perfect stay at Casa Zuma. We could not ask for anything more. The location was perfect with cute restaurants and the beach nearby. The house is immaculate! Spotless and GORGEOUS! The flow of the home and the views of the pool and patio are amazing. I did not want to leave. Thank you Josee for the most comfortable stay. We loved Costa Rica and will be back to stay at Casa Zuma. Thank you so much. Keep up the amazing work :)

This house is very well located- 5 min walk to the beach- which makes it very easy to go to an early walk or run at the beach but also come back and enjoy the sunset. The pool is spectacular- extremely relaxing, peaceful and private. Very convenient house with no stairs or sub-levels at all - ideal for senior citizens with mobility issues. A home away from home

Super beautiful home. Very close to everything walking distance to food places market and the beach! Much appreciated because we did not have a car. The host got us in touch with transportation, private massage that came to us, and a chef. So much bathrooms, little things like bug spray was provided, filtered water, beach chairs, bags, surf boards, extra towels for the beach. Coffee maker, with the proper things provided to make it to, air fryer , microwave, out door kitchen tables etc she thought of everything needed! Any issues we had was taken care of which was only one and under 15 min someone came to handle it (I couldn’t locate pool remote). Felt super safe! Perfect neighborhood if you love the beach literally up the street! The pool was so beautiful and clean! No extra leaves, branches or anything in it which was surprising since we were close to the forest. Alot of animal noises but limited bugs and not interruptions from the wild life, great stay.

Beautiful villa that is minutes walk to the beach. The villa is very clean and well maintained. Air conditioning worked great when needed. The outdoor sitting area and pool are amazing! We would 100% come back to this villa next time we are in Playa Grande!

Casa Zuma was fabulous. To quote my kids: "Can this just be our house?" Everything worked well and there were some surprise bonuses in the form of boogey boards, beach chairs and umbrella and cooler to take to the beach. The house is located within easy walking distance of several restaurants and a great tennis/pickleball court. Be sure to head to the end of the road to watch a sunset over Playa Grande and head into the Palm Beach Estates to hit up Cafe Mar Azul. (I understand there are also water taxis down there somewhere for a quick hop over to Tamarindo but we admittedly never found them).

What a wonderful house. We stayed with our two kids (10&13) and my sister and her husband. Playa grande was our favorite beach spot of the whole trip! Fun waves for the kids and great for surf lessons! The house is walkable to the beach, but we drove and parked the car right on the beach since we had a lot of gear to carry. Lots of nearby restaurants and fun atmosphere. The pool was great and overall beautiful and wonderful house. Loved having on-suite bathrooms (we weren’t used to having to throw ALL toilet paper in the trash and not the toilet, so that was the only complaint from our group)…but the outdoor trash container was right outside the property, so easy to dispose of waste. Jose was quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely go back!

We absolutely loved our 2-week stay at Casa Zuma. The house was splendid, even more beautiful than in the photos. This house is a real paradise close to the beach. The hosts were very friendly. We hope to return and stay there again in the near future to relive the Pura Vida! ☀️🐢

We travel frequently and this particular vacation was special because it was for my son's senior trip. We were able to spend an incredible amount of quality time together and all agreed it was the best vacation we had ever been on. The home was stunning and looked exactly like the pictures. I already have friends asking for the link to Casa Zuma so they can book it for themselves.
