RUN!!! We wish someone warned us!! Horrible & deplorable living conditions. The home looked like an abandoned and neglected insurance claim. Host was responsive sending a cleaner. Maintenence worked around the clock patching massive holes in the walls, replacing moldy curtains, monitoring moldy A/C units pouring pouring water. He partially painted & restored doors and drawer of furniture, retoring doorframe. By the end of our stay the moldy smell and stained walls and kitchen counters and broken oven remained. This place was waay over priced!! We should be reimbursed at least $1,000.

The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, really cozy for a family trip. The host was generally attentive and quick to respond. However, the reservation was for 6 people and in the room there were only 4 towels for the bathroom, there was also a lack of soap for the sink and bathroom, and the toilet paper was only one roll in each bathroom and the one in the main room was the remainder of a roll already started, one of the air conditioning controls had no batteries, as well as one of the controls of the cable box...we informed the host of all this, who showed her genuine concern, and blamed the maintenance people for the need for her to communicate with them to cover these needs; however it was not solved and we had to cover it by our own means. However, I think it's more carelessness of those in charge of these details in coordination with the host, who I insist was as attentive as possible.

The place was very nice, but we had some drawbacks….. It is necessary to change the llav as we lasted to enter because it was not working (they fixed it but then it gave problems again)…. There was also no hot water, we reported it but they didn't fix it (we were going with children and we had to heat water)…

Gracias Natalia por tus comentarios, el llavín tuvo inconvenientes por falta de batería al inicio, eso se remplazó y hasta llegó la señora que nos brinda el servicio de limpieza y les enseñó a usar el llavín y verificó que funcionaba sin problemas delante de ustedes. 😉 Sobre el agua caliente fue algo inesperado pues por un pico de voltaje quemó el calentador, por la fecha no pudimos encontrar quien llegará a revisar 😔 pues era fin de año. Con el nuevo calentador instalamos un proyector de picos de voltaje para evitar futuros inconvenientes 😉

We spent a week at this spacious condo in Jaco. The beds are really comfortable and the complex is great. It’s a wonderful location for exploring this part of Costa Rica. Manual Antonio NP was just over an hour away. We took a beautiful sunset kayak tour with Kayak Jaco where we saw bioluminescence! Also hiked to the tallest waterfall in CR, Bijagual, which was only a 20-25 minute drive away to the trail head. The beaches near Jaco were great. We loved Playa Blanca. Highly recommend this place.

The place is nice, well equipped kitchen. If you go for many days, bring enough clothes and cloths because there is no place to wash them and the apartment has one cloth per person. It is a good place to spend with family, safe and clean.

A very nice and spacious apartment, with the kitchen very equipped, access to the place is very good, the facilities are very nice with a large pool and everything is very clean and tidy ! I would go back to the place and Doña Pamela is very attentive and pleasant.

I had the most amazing time staying at Pamela’s condo! Went down to Costa Rica for a wedding, surfed plenty, ate great food, everyone from Costa Rica ( the locals) are such kind, generous, fun, wonderful people and I fell in love with this country.... already making plans to return and I know it wouldn’t of been the same if we stayed anywhere else other than at Pamela’s place. So don’t hesitate and just book your stay here at jaco bay- Pamela’s condo and you will have the time of your life honestly. The condo was so comfy, modern, great location close to beach and restaurants. Thank you Pamela for being such a wonderful host!!! Look forward to staying there again soon:)
