aking up every morning surrounded by lush nature, birdsong, and incredible scenery made this stay truly unforgettable. It felt like the authentic Costa Rican experience—peaceful, immersive, and connected to nature. The property is about a 20–25 minute drive from La Fortuna. We stayed for five days, and the distance was never an issue for us since we spent most of the day exploring and only returned in the evenings. That said, it's worth considering if you prefer to stay closer to town. I would definitely recommend renting a car. While the property offers private transportation, having your own vehicle gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace. The drive includes some hilly sections and the last part is on a gravel road, but we didn't find it difficult or inconvenient. Overall, if you're looking for a quiet retreat immersed in nature rather than a place in the middle of town, this is an excellent choice. We would gladly stay here again. The hot tub, was definitely a plus!

There were 4 of us, and overall we enjoyed the stay. You can end the evening well, especially in the hot tub on the terrace. The property is located on a hill, which gives you a view of the valley when visibility is good. Unfortunately, the visibility was never good for us, so we could never see the volcano. Overall, good amenities, but too small for longer stays for four people. Unfortunately, there is also no good way to dry things (especially important in the rainy season) and no cozy seating area inside. Overall, a solid place to stay that I would recommend to anyone!

This place is amazing. It’s beautiful and the jacuzzi is a great addition! We felt roght at home :) It was snear everywhere and the view was beautiful! Very recommended

Ari was very sweet. she answered all my questions and was very responsive even though she just had a baby a couple months ago. the place was very clean and everything smelt clean as well. the view was spectacular inside and outside. overall, such a cozy place to stay

Ari’s place is absolutely magical. I checked in on my birthday and immediately felt a sense of serenity upon arriving. The home is thoughtfully decorated and the outdoor area transports you to your own enchanted rainforest jungle. Waking up with sun to the sounds of nature each day was surreal. Daily soaks in the hot tub and walking barefoot in the garden area, which features an adorable swing set was just what I needed for grounding. Ari was very responsive and kind during my stay. She even left me a box of delicious chocolates for my birthday ☺️ Her car service was greatly appreciated as the place is a bit off the beaten path, which is exactly what I was looking for - quiet, private, peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. Ari’s neighbor Bob is also wonderful. He offers a few tours on his property that are super cool. He popped up ahead of my night animal tour to show me a sloth in the tree and other cool animals in his backyard. I would 100% stay here again!

Ari's stay is beautiful. We woke up every morning to so many beautiful birds, friendly dogs, and stunning views. It is outside of La Fortuna by about 20 minutes, so it was very private and relaxing-exactly what we wanted!

The place was wonderful. The hot tub was great. Stunning views. Not too close to La fortuna but the taxi service provided makes it convenient. Perfect for a getaway, quiet and peaceful.

We stayed at Ari's place for three days, and we really had a great time with her. There were four of us, which was sometimes very tight with luggage, but it was totally sufficient. The hot tub was a big highlight for us! The location is a bit tricky, but if you have a car, it's feasible and not a problem. The house is partly a bit outdated (the toilet flush had to be used very often, the bathroom door does not close properly, various signs of wear on the stove, etc.), but this did not bother us much. Nevertheless, you should know that as a group. Ari was really one of the best hosts and took care of everything immediately if there were any questions or problems. An electrician they arranged even came spontaneously at night because the hot tub had stopped working. Perfect! Your restaurant recommendations were also really great. We would stay again!

10/10 would definitely go again. Ari is really nice and friendly, she responds very quickly and was very helpful. She waited us there for check in and showed us around the cottage and explained everything perfectly. The cottage was a bit far from the town (20min drive away from la fortuna town) but that provided us with beautiful natural views and quiet night. We loved the hot tub, it’s surrounded by greens, you can hear the sound of nature while chill in the massage tub. The cottage has tv, stove, microwave and coffee machine. Highly recommended.

This place was very beautiful and clean. Ari is a great host, very responsive. We appreciated that she came and met us on the first day and showed us around. This place is about 30mins away from restaurants and main strip but we really liked that since it was private and peaceful. The hot tub was also a great amenity to have. Overall, we had an awesome time at this place and would love to return.

And guys, just to clarify, we are located 12 kilometers from La Fortuna, and only 4 kilometers from Calle Principal, which means it takes no more than 20 minutes by car to get to downtown La Fortuna. We have restaurants and all kinds of services just 4 kilometers from our accommodation, which takes no more than 8 minutes.

This home is very well designed and maintained and boasts extremely beautiful views from inside the home. Ari was super helpful and friendly. Check in was smooth.
