This is beautiful place very close to town center. Steve and Claire live right next door to the house. They are wonderful people and enjoyed talking to them. Even though they live next door in separate entrance living space you will feel as they are not there (if that is your concern). We felt better knowing they are right next door incase we needed some help. Last kilometers is literally 45 degrees incline so make sure you get the 4x4. The house is new built within last year or two and built to impress. The sunset views from pool is outstanding. Highly recommended place.

If my friend and I could give this place more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! It was an absolute 10 out of 10 stay in Tamarindo. The space was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and we loved that they provided thorough cleaning every 3 days. The view from the property was truly exceptional and a highlight of our trip. The location was unbeatable, and the space felt like a comfortable home away from home. To top it all off, the hosts, Steve and Claire, were incredibly pleasant, making check-in a breeze and communication seamless. Their thoughtful hospitality made us feel so welcome. We would love to stay here again and cannot recommend them highly enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Chiric. The villa is modern, new, very tastefully decorated and really fully equipped. Everything is well thought out, functional and exactly as you would want it for a relaxing family vacation. The pool with the magnificent view was an absolute highlight. This will certainly stay with my three children and me for a long time. Steve and Claire were extremely personable, attentive and proactive hosts. Communication was always straightforward, prompt, and friendly. We felt very comfortable from the first moment and would book the villa again anytime. Clear recommendation!

Had a great time at Steve and Claire’s place. The space was exactly as described and close to downtown Tamarindo, if you are debating whether you should book this place just do it! Treat yourself to a luxurious vacation in the heart of it all. Pool was amazing, beds and linen were super comfortable and felt like a high-quality hotel and was a welcome relief after leaving La Fortuna to have that kind of luxury. Would stay again if in Tamarindo.

Steve’s place was amazing! We even got to see some monkeys off in the distance on the first day. The place was immaculate and very accommodating. Everybody has a view from a balcony off the rooms which is a nice touch. A couple of bugs, but we are in the jungle after all. Looking to come back in the future.

10/10 stay. The property is absolutely stunning—beautiful architecture that blends perfectly with the surrounding jungle. Everything was thoughtfully designed and put together, creating a unique and relaxing experience. The only thing worth mentioning is that the road getting to the property can be a little challenging to navigate. A 2WD vehicle is completely fine, but a 4WD would make the drive even easier. We rented a small Honda Civic-type car and had no issues at all—we were cruising. Overall, an incredible place to stay. The setting, design, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful jungle getaway.

Villa Chiric was a dream come true. It is set high on a hill with a majestic view of the ocean. When you lounge poolside you will be surrounded by birds and butterflies and the distant (and sometimes close) howls of the monkeys. Steve and Claire have a beautiful home and they are the kindest people. We had many questions and they were so helpful and so very patient. They were so welcoming and the space was pure peace. Leaving felt like leaving home.

Villa Chric is an amazing place to stay. It’s perched up high on top of a hill/mountain with views of the ocean and valley below. The place is easy to find. It’s even marked on Google Maps. We were able to find it in the dark without issue. The beach is only a few minutes away and plenty of places to eat nearby. Steve was quick to respond with any questions, including local restaurant recommendations. He was very friendly when I got the chance to meet him as we were loading up the car and checking out. The house is very spacious with a full kitchen, living room with huge TV, nice sized pool with views and plenty of seating on the deck, a nice sunning deck with turf and plenty of lounge chairs, and 4 suites each complete with its own full bathroom. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in the Tamarindo area.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire trip. Anytime we had a question or needed anything, they replied quickly and made sure we were taken care of. The home itself is absolutely beautiful and exactly as described. It was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A couple of recommendations for future guests: we strongly suggest renting an SUV, as the road leading to the house is very steep and rocky. An SUV makes getting up and down the hill much easier and more comfortable. We would also recommend being aware of your surroundings in the downtown area. There are individuals who may approach you while you’re parking and tell you they are “watching” your vehicle and ask for money. Just be aware that the public parking areas are free, and you are not required to.

The place really is better than the photos. The beds are very comfortable and everything is made for a perfect stay. Most days we found ourselves just wanting to spend the majority of the time at the villa. It is worth noting, the apartment the owners mention in the listing is attached to the villa and the owners appear to stay on the property. That being said, it still felt private and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again

The villa itself is beautiful and the views are incredible. We truly enjoyed our stay overall and the hosts were kind and responsive throughout the trip, so thank you again for having us. One thing I do think could be communicated more clearly in the listing is that there is an adjoining apartment connected to the villa that appears to be occupied during stays by the owners. While still a wonderful property, it felt a little less private than expected at times due to occasional noise/activity from the connected garage, terrace, and shared walls. I would also personally recommend a 4x4 or higher-clearance vehicle for this location. While the listing mentions it is no longer necessary, we found it made navigating the steep roads and surrounding areas much easier and more comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and think these details may simply be helpful for future guests when booking.

Our stay at this villa was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The space was even more beautiful in person—clean, thoughtfully designed, and had such a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind right away. The location was perfect, close to everything yet still felt private and tucked away. We especially loved spending time enjoying the villa itself—it truly felt like a little oasis. The host was amazing as well—very responsive, accommodating, and made sure everything went smoothly for us. This was the perfect place to start our trip, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again 💛
