Due to the extremely bad smell of the seaweed and no accessible beach for swimming I think the price could be lowered a bit.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Paloma. The house was spacious, comfortable and clean, just as described. It's about a 15 minute golf cart ride to several beach bars and about 30 minutes into San Pedro. It's about 25 minutes to Secret Beach. Unfortunately, the sargassam is a real problem and the smell made the beach at the house unusable. Overall, we had a great stay at Casa Paloma and in Ambergris Caye. And Julio and his wife were very friendly and helpful!

This place is amazing…. Strongly recommend.. looks better in person than the pictures. Was perfect for me and my family with two teenage girls. The host is absolutely awesome. From a month before we arrived to the day we left, they made sure this was a plug and play vacation. Very accommodating.

Caretakers were amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. Host was extremely responsive and great at assisting with every need. Loved the location- far enough from San Pedro to be quiet but still close to great restaurants and beach clubs. Loved getting picked up on the dock out front for our boat outing! Pool was so refreshing. Roof top made for great star gazing.

We had a group of 12 adults and used 2 of the villas. We had plenty of space and enjoyed hanging out at the property. Everything we needed was provided there at the house and it set the stage for an awesome trip!

This was my second stay here and I was so happy to be back. The space truly felt like home — comfortable, welcoming, and exactly as expected. I had no complaints at all and would definitely stay again! Thanks again to Julio and Consuela!

Beautiful place and worekd well for our family. Unfortunately the sargasm made the beach unusable but the host cannot avoid that situation. Pool was wonderful. Julio and Consuelo went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They even found extra toys for our grandkids.

We were an extended family of 11 + an infant. We stayed in Solaria I and II. The villas are spacious and the rooms comfortable. It was great to have access to extra towels and the laundry room. The location is quiet but it is about 30 mins from downtown San Pedro, so be prepared for that. Pretty easy golf cart ride to restaurants and bars (15-20 mins), and to Secret Beach (20 mins). The last 1/2 mile to the villas is a very rough road. We enjoyed the pool, bag toss game, and the hammocks. Daniel, the onsite caretaker was very responsive and could be seen every day working outside to keep it cleaned up. We never used the smaller pool in front of the second villa because it was shaded and cold. We didn’t know there were three villas on the property and that the third villa would be rented by someone else and we would be sharing the outdoor spaces and pool with them. It turned out great for us because they were gone most of the day anyway and we didn’t end up seeing them much.

Casa Paloma was exactly as described - beautiful home and furnishings, extremely clean, comfortable and with an unbeatable view. Sunrise property management is excellent at communication and very helpful. The best part of Casa Paloma was the caretaker family - Julio and Consuelita and their pup Sparky. Julio is kind and extremely helpful. He fished in the evening off the dock with the boys (helped them get bait and readied the fishing rods), greeted us each morning, and walked us to the end of the dock to meet our tour pickups. We appreciated his efforts to go the extra mile to ensure the property is always in pristine condition. He was ready to help and guide us. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

We had a group of 16 that enjoyed both villas! A few additional guests stayed at the resort next year and it was easy to access as well. Daniel was helpful and around if we needed any help. Very nice place to stay! We would happily return!
