Shannon and her team were exceptionally kind and generous with their responses and insights making our stay in “paradise”, the best it could be!! We met some great people both Ticos and otherwise and left feeling we made some new friends….a lovely vacation made more spectacular by the tours that we experienced with Shannon’s choice of shuttle service…..Costours delivered outstanding service and they are highly recommended (review for these folks elsewhere!!) A healthy and beautiful place with lots of great memories and great opportunities explored with many more to explore with our next visit We’ll be Back!!

Near everything

We chose this place so as to be able to walk to the beach. It is just a few minutes walk to the beach and not far from the commercial strip of Coco. At the same time, it's extraordinarily quiet. No traffic or noise at all. The beach towels and beach chairs were very handy! The kitchen is extraordinarily well-equipped. Shannon and Nadene were friendly and helpful, sending us info and tips well ahead of time and exchanging ideas as to what we might enjoy, given our interests. Snorkeling at the far end of nearby Ocotal beach was great as was a visit to the Monkey Farm there and horseback riding with them.

this was our fourth visit to Costa Rica, and our favorite place that we've stayed at! a quick walk to the beach, having chairs and beach towels on hand was awesome, and the condo was beautiful and setup smartly. it really made traveling a breeze. the pool was mostly quiet and we kinda had it to ourselves for most of the 7 days that we were there. the neighbors were all very nice as well, we felt welcome. and then there's Costa Rica in general! it's a beautiful country and the Ticans are amazing people. lots of folks speak English or are very patient if you're not great at Spanish. we drove to Arenal and La Fortuna while we were visiting, well worth the drive. we just got back late last night and already dream of returning!

This spot is great and central if you’re interested in checking out what Coco has to offer. Lots of extras in the apartment like chairs and coolers for the beach. The address from g00gle maps if you copy paste from the Airbnb app isn’t exactly where the spot is, you need to search the name of the condo in g00gle maps and it will take you right there. Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely spotless condo with nice gardens and pool. Very close to the beach with a few good restaurants within a five minute walk. Very communicative host who checked in with us occasionally to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend.

Nice, clean place close to the beach and everything else. The front patio gets sun in the morning and is a great place to drink coffee. We had everything we needed to make most meals at the condo after a trip to the grocery store. We would stay there again

We are so happy we booked this place. The location was great. We could walk to the beach in 5 mins and there were great restaurants that were 3 min walk away. Shannon and Nadine were super helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions. The complex this condo is in is very peaceful and was exactly what we had hoped for. The beds were comfortable and it had all the amenities that we needed to cook our meals . Highly recommend!!!

The place was very clean and welcoming. Well equipped and included many extras (like beach chairs, towels and cooler). All and all great condo to stay, walking distance to good restaurants (Dolce Vita and Soda Mediterranea). We loved it.

Very nice home, comfortable beds, lots of amenities, close to everything. I highly recommend it!

Shannon's place was beautifully done inside, exactly as shown. It was a cozy spot for the weekend and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is a ~10-12 min walk to downtown, but very quiet, and beach access is close. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

Our stay here was excellent. The place is clean and comfortable. We really appreciated all of the amenities available like the beach chairs, washer/dryer etc., and the helpful information left in the guide, like for where and how to buy a sim card locally. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and it is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and the main part of town.

Shannon and Nadene were wonderful hosts and super helpful during my entire stay. Made sure I had everything I needed and were super responsive. Loved that there were small touches like a blow dryer and detergent for the laundry machine which really made my stay more complete. I would 100% recommend staying here to explore Coco!

I really loved our stay at Shannon’s condo in Playas del Coco. It was squeaky clean and very comfortable. What I most appreciated were all the little touches: the paper towels, the dishwasher and laundry pods, the stuff you need to settle in, plus the beach chairs and coolers - all the stuff you need for a beach but won’t have room for in your luggage. As a family of 4 taking on activities each day, I particularly appreciated having the in-suite laundry to wash beach towels and sweaty clothes etc. And of course, a dishwasher is a must especially on vacation! The area is great; there’s a well stocked mini market just 3 minutes down the street, and the fabulous Guayoyo coffeehouse 6 minutes away. It’s close enough to the Coco main strip to walk, but far enough away to enjoy the silence when you’re tucked in bed. Can’t say enough great things about this place and our lovely hosts, Shannon and Nadene! Would definitely visit again! ☺️
