Very nice home in a great area. Views were stunning and plenty of space for our large group. Tricia the host was extremely responsive and helpful. Loved our stay in Los Barriles and would stay here again!

Tricia's home has a welcoming vibe with "Old Mexico" art and architecture, mixed with modern art medium. The accomodations fit out family perfectly, especially with the private casita that our oldest granddaughter occupied. Upon entering the courtyard you feel "Mi Casa es su Casa." The proximity to the beach, as well as the paddleboards and water toys providef lots of beach/water sports opportunity. The temp in June and July is in the high 90's, so getting in the water is the best way to stay cool. Watch out for Jellyfish and be sure to apply sunscreen. the patio provides covered alcoves but there are no umbrellas on the patio. There are 2 resorts nearby with pools and bars, if you feel the need to take a break from the ocean and the tranquility and relaxation that this retreat provides, but don't expect them to welcome you to use their pools or amenities, even if you patronize their bars. Our family will definitely book Tricia's home in Los Barillies in the future.

This house is gorgeous, with Mexican tile and various architectural touches. It was also very functional and commodious with 3 bedrooms in the main house and a separate casita with a washroom. Of course it is right on the beach...and this beach is active, kite surfing and foiling to watch as the wind came up nearly every afternoon. Lots of restaurants and shops in the town and of course Las Palmas Hotel two doors down (I recommend the gorgeous restaurant there where they made fresh guacamole right at our table...we had great take-out from there one night also). The one thing to note, for better or for worse, is that motorized vehicles are allowed on this beach, and while not constant, ATVs, beach buggies, motorcycles, cars and trucks went by at all hours of the day (and a few at night!), a little highway in the sand. I could also hear noise from the highway that cut across the hillside behind the town from the casita (I don't think this could be heard from the main bedrooms.)

As every member of my family stated: This place is AMAZING! Our stay included extended family celebrating my Mom's 80th birthday. First of all, the VIEW is breathtaking and the sunrises spectacular from inside the living area, master bedroom and back patio with a variety a seating. We loved looking out over the Sea of Cortez, watching the boats and swimming in the ocean water. House is exactly as described with many amenities. We did a lot of fishing and love to cook. The kitchen had everything we needed. Renting an ATV a must! Grocery stores close by for veggies, fruit, snacks and any other necessities. There are many restaurants to choose from including local and international favorites. Tricia was a top-notch host and Victor who provided our transportation around BCS provided personalized and professional service. It was difficult to leave this lovely paradise.
