The house is very spacious, big enough for our group of 9 people. The view from the house is very beautiful. It is very close to the Curi Cancha reserve. On the other hand, access by car can be a little complicated if you don't have a 4x4, but Tobi can explain how to do it. Tobi was very responsive and had great tips. He is a certified guide, so he can accompany you anywhere. We had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this house.

Tobi is a five star host. Provided helpful instructions prior to arrival and house is just as pictured and super well kept. Very clean throughout. Extremely happy with our stay and would stay again if we are in the area again!

Our family of five had a lovely time at the rainbow House cabin. It was just what we were looking for as our home base to explore Monteverde. Toby was an amazing host who greeted us upon arrival and walked us around the property and shared with us about the area and his family history and local things to do. We loved seeing all the birds nearby and the kids had a blast on the vine swing. We would happily stay here again!

Accommodation in the middle of nature with a great view.

To stay in the Rainbow House is to step into the history of a remarkable family, and the history of Monteverde itself. Tobi welcomed us with familiarity & treated us as amigos, which warmed our entire experience here & made us feel at home. He was on hand to help with anything, which is really a comfort & blessing when you're in a new place. The house is spacious and beautiful, quirky and cool, close to nature. The free trails were a blessing as every where else charges. We were able to spend lots of time in the lush forest, just as we'd hoped. Oh and a million dollar view and rainbows all the time? Icing on the cake. If we ever get to come back, we will come back to the Rainbow House.

We had an amazing stay! The view alone is worth booking this Airbnb—it was absolutely breathtaking and the highlight of our time in Monteverde. Waking up to those views every morning was unforgettable. Tobi was an outstanding host, truly one of the best we've ever had. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde!

The house in Monteverde was wonderful, ideally located, and offered many great positive surprises, including nearby hikes, birds, and wildlife. Tobi was one of the best hosts we've had, fully committed to making sure everything was perfect. He helped us navigate local resources and made our trip truly memorable. We saw more birds at Tobi’s place than any other reserve in Monteverde, the view is amazing and every sunset is a dream, rainbows during the morning, and lots of birds just looking thru the window.

We enjoyed our stay at Tobi's place. The instructions made it seem like "Rainbow house" would be clearly labeled and easy to find once we got on the gravel road up to the house, but it wasn't. Not really a problem, just a heads up, once you turn onto the gravel road, just keep going straight, all the way to the top. There are no signs. The road is really not bad to drive; we didn't need to use the 4 wheel drive. The house gets very hot around 3:00 because the sun just shines into the house, and there aren't blinds to shade it. No air conditioning, but it cools off at night though, so as long as you are out during the day you will be fine. We didn't see as much wildlife as we had hoped, but really enjoyed the view, especially of the sunset. It is a great location, just 4 minute drive to Monteverde and other tourist activities. Tobi is so friendly and kind and really enjoys his home! Would definitely recommend staying here!
