We have stayed at dozens of places in many countries. This is possibly the best we’ve stayed at. The quality of the internal furnishings and spec is superb. It is spacious, airy, cool, and has a view to die for. It felt super-safe, relaxed and luxurious. If we lived on this continent we’d be back annually. Our host, Karla, made everything very easy, the cleaners came or didn’t as we wished, and in short it was so lovely it was hard to leave to go see anything else. Perfect.

The house was a dream, the beach was too beautiful. We were very comfortable, the house was fully equipped. I recommend it to spend a few fabulous days at the beach!

Very nice location. Easy walk 10 minutes beach walk to the ferry and 5th avenue is about 15-20 minutes walk.

Beautifully situated house, just as advertised. Safe, quiet, comfortable. Every possible amenity: bathrobes, yoga mats, paddle boards and more. Direct access to a beach with little seaweed and no rocks (our third trip to this area of Mexico, so we know other beaches have these problems). We were six adults and two small children (one year old, three year old). We spent many hours on the terrace enjoying the view and pool. Pool was small but perfect for kids and great as dipping pool after the beach. Kitchen was well-stocked and equippeed, but a little cramped for a family that likes to cook. It helped to have a car for grocery shopping and because the distance to most restaurants was too long a walk for our small children (and adult with bad ankle). Karla and Oscar were very (almost instantly!) responsive and helpful.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Casa Karma. The house had everything you could possibly need. Very well appointed. The location in Playa Del Carmen was perfect, especially if you plan on visiting the water parks. The community is guarded and very safe and quiet. The beach is just steps away and it was beautiful. If any concerns regarding the price, you definitely get what you pay for. Would definitely stay again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Karma for an entire month, and it was an absolute dream! This beachfront house exceeded our expectations. Location: The location is unbeatable. Situated in the tranquil Playacar neighborhood, you're just steps away from the beach. It's also a short walk to the vibrant Quinta Avenida, where you can find an endless array of shops, restaurants, and bars. The House: Casa Karma is a true oasis. The house itself is beautifully designed and decorated, which perfectly complements the beachy surroundings. The rooms are spacious and airy, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. Amenities: One of the highlights of Casa Karma is the pool and the deck. It's so close to the ocean you feel as if you are on a boat. Host: Karla is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The house staff is extremely responsive. Overall Experience: Our stay at Casa Karma was nothing short of amazing.

Excellent stay, very walkable location to Centro, and quiet peaceful neighborhood.

The house is very unassuming from the outside, which is great. But once you step on the inside, this house exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail, the good taste of decor, and the perfect spaces, not too big or too small made our vacation memorable. Every room was perfectly appointed with an en-suite bathroom, and we also had a half extra bathroom. Karla and her person in charge, Oscar were there when we needed them. Everything was of good quality, from the linens to the soaps. The main bathroom is a jewel, has a Totto bidet toilet, shower, and tub. The kitchen has all that you need. Motorized shades, good diming lighting... and the view of that amazing turquoise color water were the perfect settings. Will love to come back!

What a gem! I’m already plotting a return to Casa Karma. The house is beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. The location can’t be beat - it’s both beachfront and a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and services. The plentiful towels and linens in every room plus a fully stocked linen closet made my heart sing because isn’t it the worst when hosts are stingy with linens?! There are pillow types for all preferences (down, memory foam, big, small). All rooms are equipped with remote controlled blackout and light filtering shades, effective AC units, dimmable lights, and speakers. It was so peaceful to gaze out over the pool and watch the waves roll in. The pool area has two showers so it was so easy to play on the beach and then clean off before entering the house. Karla was responsive as was the local manager. The chef recommendation for Arturo and team was sublime - they were so friendly, professional and talented. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking but trust me, hire Arturo.

Casa Karma has a fantastic location right over the beach. The sound of waves hitting the beach and the cool breeze was mesmerizing and calming. The villa has been thoughtfully furnished with excellent quality furniture and fittings. Smallest details have been taken care of. The property management was extremely responsive and especially Oscar. They even responded after hours on the weekend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The house is spectacular and truly better than the write up and pictures portrayed. The bedrooms are well appointed, the kitchen, dining and living area is thoughtfully laid out to take advantage of the outdoor living, pool and private beach. Oscar, the property manager, is attentive and immediately responsive and Nelson, the housekeeper, is so joyful and kept things sparkling clean. And there are no words for Chefs Arturo, Mariana and Veronica, the onsite personal chef Karla arranged. The food and presentation was delicious and they are some of the most gracious humans we have ever met. And then there’s Karla, our host! As host, concierge and first and last line of interaction, she set the tone and expectation for five star luxury during for our stay and she exceeded our expectations! Many thanks to you, Karla, for your graciousness, efficiency and professionalism. You made our vacation seamless and we are your clients forever!

Excellent, only the pool was cold that does not have a heater

I have stayed in several beachfront homes in this community and by absolute far, this home is the absolute best. The attention to detail inside is impeccable. All of the furnishings, including the beds, are extremely comfortable and attractive. the level of detail down to a room by room Sonos music system, custom branded towels & boutique soaps/shampoos, motorized window shades everywhere, Samsung frame TV… it truly is an opportunity to stay inside someone’s own personal home that truly knows how to live comfortably and exquisitely… all hosts should stay here and learn from Karla! The location can’t be beat, the pool and patio are perfection, the kitchen is stocked with more than you will need, and if you can swing it, opt to hire Karla’s chef — you will NOT be disappointed. 11 out of 10 experience. Can’t wait to return already! Chefs kiss!

Karla’s place was absolutely, beautiful. I reserved this place for my family of 7 adults to get away and have a peaceful week. Karla’s place has all the amenities we needed! The beds we’re comfortable individual restrooms were amazing and the view was spectacular. The fridge was stocked with the essentials, and some fruit upon our arrival. There was also a volleyball, football, beach chairs and boogie boards which made our trips to the beach (walking distance) that much more enjoyable. Karla & the concierge Oscar’s communication was spectacular and proactive. From groceries, cleaning or arranging transportation to the airport. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the Playa Del Carmen area!
