Excellent stay. The house is beautiful, everything was impeccable, the private pool is very enjoyable, and the air-conditioned bedrooms allow you to sleep in a pleasant temperature. The house is very nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need.

We are a small family with two children (2 years old and 8 months old). We felt right at home. Alex and Daniela are so friendly, accommodating, and always available! The apartment is as described in the pictures. Super clean, totally quiet. We would recommend it to anyone and would come back again.

Everything was great

I stayed at Pelicano for 2 weeks with 2 other people. The Host Alex was very friendly and responsive and the staff was extremely nice and attentive. The location and the amenities of the property is what really stood out to us. It is a quick 10 minute walk down to beginners bay or 15 minutes to Popoyo which made it perfect for our surf trip. The amenities, mainly the pool and the AC, really stood out for us due to the hot weather. The power cuts in and out during the day due to the road work being done, but if needed there is a generator for back up power. Having a full kitchen was definitely a huge plus as well! If I came back to Nicaragua I would definitely stay here again. It was peaceful, private, comfortable, and perfect for our needs.

Beautiful, modern and clean house. Well-equipped and filled with extras. Quiet and safe A means of transport is recommended (motorcycle, bicycle or car) to get to the beach.

We had an amazing stay at the Pelicano house. Completely faithful to the photos, the house is a bubble of happiness tastefully decorated and less than a 10-minute walk to the beach, we went there every day. In addition, the house has everything you need to live in and cook. The host was very welcoming and very responsive, a real pleasure. We stayed 4 days, it was almost too short 😊

Alex was communatve and friendly. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for making our trip wonderful!!

Pelicano Popoyo is the most beautiful place. The hosts are amazing! The location is perfect, up the way from the beach . We felt right at home there.

Pelícano Popoyo offers outstanding value and a great location close to many beaches along the Rivas coast. It not only matches but exceeds the listing's photos and description. I will offer insights not mentioned in other reviews: 1) Getting there is a breeze using the new Ochomogo->Las Salinas paved road. Along the way you enjoy beautiful views of hills, farms and local communities which make the drive a very pleasant experience. 2) Once you reach Las Salinas you are greeted by the new "Costanera" (Coastal/Coast) paved road. Though not entirely complete, there is a roughly 12 Km section that is ready and takes you to El Astillero in a flash. Once the "Costanera" is finished, you'll be able to access even more beaches in no time. 3) All lights are dimmable which allow you to comfortably reach the bathrooms or kitchen late at night without disturbing your sleep. 4) For those spending several days, there are different options if you want to cook (stove, oven, shared BBQ).

Nicest couple ever! This is a must place to stay. Just an 8 minute walk to the beautiful beach of Popoyo.

The house far exceeded our expectations of what we had seen in the photos. Everything was very clean and tidy, with wonderful decor and spacious areas. It is perfectly equipped with cookware, and they also offered us coffee, oil and salt, which was a very appreciated plus. There was also bath gel and shampoo available. The host, Daniela, was super friendly and always available. An excellent experience!
