Studio in Cahuita

The eco-friendly concept and the location are nice. But “eco-friendly” doesn’t mean “dirty.” The room smelled like cigarettes, and the pool is actually a pond full of toads… The place has potential, but because of details like these, it’s not worth the price.

SPECTACULAR! It's a magical place… Jessica and her team have been super attentive and made us feel at home. It is located in the middle of the forest (you have to go by car), and you can see and hear multiple animals, making every corner you look at beautiful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. We were able to enjoy the night tour they offer with Rodolfo and his partner and it was very worthwhile, we were able to see snakes, spiders, frogs, a lazy bear... The breakfast was very good and the pool is beautiful. It's worth staying there for a few days to enjoy the experience. If we ever return to Cahuita, we'll definitely choose them again for our stay!

A home immersed in nature. Ideal for those people who seek that connection with the forest, with animals. It felt like camping. A very nice experience and the staff are very helpful.

Host Response

Fue un placer conocerlos a todos, y en especial a Agnus, quien me ayudó a revisar nuestras políticas. Esperamos que regresen los tres!

The location is very peaceful and in the middle of the green. Perfect if you want to escape the stresses of everyday life and relax in nature. Everything is very close to nature and the rooms as well as the common room are very nice and clean. It is a bit difficult to get there, as you have to drive up a gravel path with a high slope. If it rains I think that can become a problem. You need about 10 minutes by car or by taxi to Cahuita. What was a problem for us is that the place is just outside the city, which was shown differently on the map. We wanted to spend the night just in the center of Cahuita to be able to walk to the national park and beach. After paying, you could see in the directions that the place is not in Cahuita. I wrote to Ana that it doesn't really meet our expectations. Unfortunately, it took a very long time for her to respond
