Excellent place to stay with a large family. The rooms are very comfortable, all with private and clean bathrooms. Alejandra is very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is that maintenance be done on the exterior facilities, as they look deteriorated, but the pool is 10/10. I recommend it 100%.

Several customers have reported to us that the exterior needs maintenance... All exterior walls, starting with the entrance wall, pool area, planters, etc., are covered with adobe-colored stucco, which has faded over time. We do not use paint. This is the look we are looking for in our Itzayana…a colonial ranch-style villa… Unfortunately, we understand that certain guests see it as a lack of maintenance. We love to evoke that finish in the gardens and exteriors of old colonial houses... We always appreciate feedback. It allows us to improve our Paradise day by day for the benefit of our guests!

It's my second time at this property. The first time I loved it and wanted to come back, but this time it was very neglected. The house in general, lots of mountains everywhere and the house didn't have a fresh smell

Unfortunately, the rainy season that has lasted longer than usual prevents us from keeping the yard low, especially when we are talking about 7 acres of garden... which also causes excessive humidity in the environment, and therefore inside the villa you can smell that musty smell... our apologies, we are always trying to keep our Paradise in the best conditions, but now the weather is not helping, we have to wait for the sun to return to be able to have everything in order. Thank you for your feedback!

The attention of the excellent staff. Needs maintenance. We don't have pool. And on the handicap stairs. It doesn't have a wheelchair ramp...the shower is already dangerous. Slips one. It is best to remove them. And put pottery. Anti-drying. Those booths aren't used anymore.

The good: a fairly spacious property with several playgrounds and recreation. Its location at the side of the beach is unparalleled. The decor is country style and quite colorful. Regina was communicative and attentive and allowed us to leave the group's luggage before the official check-in time. They also have someone available on the property to assist with any emergencies. Which could have been better: We unfortunately had several challenges with the bathrooms as there was little water pressure. This turned out to be the product of a leak in the cistern. This was only managed to fix one day before our departure. The pipes and drains were repeated as well, which gave us inconvenience with the bathrooms and the drainage of shower water. This was a huge inconvenience to the large group we had for the 5 days of hosting. The house would benefit from better maintenance. The top floor of the house had a somewhat unpleasant smell that despite the cleanliness, it never left. We never manage to identify what it was. The staff who provided maintenance sometimes didn't wear masks, which we found unsuitable for COVID.

The place is beautiful. Spacious environments. Nice to spend time with the family. Spacious pool. I had my wedding there and would do it there again without hesitation. Comfortably, 27 people are staying.

The Itzayana Estate is a wonderful and relaxing place to stay while in Honduras. Our host, Regina, went out of her way to ensure that we explored and enjoyed our first trip to Honduras. All trips have different wants/needs but for us she was able to arrange a driver for our group's excursions, and a cooking crew to take care of our meals. She was a big part of the success of our trip - we could have missed out on several very fun opportunities if not for her attention especially the nighttime bonfire with the local tribe who shared their songs and dances. The Itzayana Estate was particularly beautiful, but more important was the willingness of everyone involved to ensure that we were able to enjoy a variety of the sights and sounds (especially the fishing trip and the local Spanish era fortress) - and thefantastic people that are Honduras. It's too bad that we didn't have a few more days to spend with you! This estate is on the coast and roughly a 90 minute drive outside San Pedro Sula, which makes it important to plan events ahead of time.
