We had a fantastic time at the Condominiums Biesanz. What an incredible location, the views from the house were really spectacular. Having Bismarck nearby was helpful as well. Having no A/C made a couple of nights a little sticky and although I liked the 120 steps up to the house, my teenage girls did not. 😂 But to be fair the whole Manuel Antonio area is very hilly so if you're walking anywhere be prepared for hills. It is a stunning area with great restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend both the area and Toms place. One tip I would give is have a vehicle with 4x4 (luckily we did) so you can drive down to the main beach. It's a bit of a hike to walk and carry all your stuff down there with a pretty steep climb back at the end of the day. But you can park right down there for next to nothing. All in all we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to return. Thanks again Tom!

The views and wildlife were amazing. The stairs were plentiful. The A/C was lacking but all of those things are consistent with the property description. It was a lovel, affordable, place so close to beaches and restaurants. An awesome place to stay. Our whole family wished we had stayed longer.

From the moment we saw and entered the house, we fell in love and will never forget this place. We had such a wonderful time at this gem! The location is beautiful and from the bed see could see tucans fly, see monkeys and saw so much of the forest from every angle. This place is authentic and has a lot of character. Also our children had the best time and felt at ease. Ada and Bismark are very nice and it felt good that there are close in case you need help or just their friendly hello in the morning.

A beautiful apartment with stunning views.

Amazing house in a wonderful location! This is probably my all time favorite Airbnb. The views are breathtaking, I could sit on the deck and stare at the ocean all day. The house is old and quirky, which gives it character and made it a fun stay. We saw more wildlife here than in the park. Numerous types of monkeys played in the trees and visited our porch in the mornings (one tried to get inside by pushing on the door!) We also saw agoutis, geckos, toucans, parrots, and numerous other colorful birds. The house wasn't as hot as I expetected with the fans and ocean breeze but it had been raining alot. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance on a steep hillside. The 120 stairs to the house will make you sweat, but we found it fun. Tom was very responsive and helpful. The onsite caretakers were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tom's house, the view and wildlife were breathtaking. The interior was clean and comfortable. Bismarck was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Easily one of the coolest and most unique places I’ve ever stayed. Yes, there are quite a few stairs but it’s absolutely worth it to reach this beautiful little home perched at the top of the hill. The views are truly unmatched. The wildlife alone made this stay unforgettable! We saw toucans, scarlet macaws, agoutis, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, and capuchin monkeys. It felt like something out of a nature documentary. My kids said it was the coolest place they’ve ever stayed, which says everything. The luggage lift was a lifesaver and such a thoughtful touch. Bismark and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we loved spending time with the sweet resident cat and dog on the property. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, we would come back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful accommodation in a two-story house. Views of the treetops and the ocean. Every day, we saw lots of birds and monkeys. Both the manager and the owner are incredibly nice and helpful. We had a great stay.

This is a wonderful home and host . Everything is stunning - a film location level of house with the best views I have ever had in an Air BnB . Sitting on the patio watching the monkeys and toucans playing in the trees whilst the sun sets is incredible . Tom is amazing and very helpful - as is Bismarck who looks after us whilst on site . The pictures posted do not due this place justice! The views were beyond magnificent and you are literally in the midst of the jungle - all three species of monkeys paid us a visit on the back deck, in addition to a long list of other wildlife, including a pair of beautiful Scarlett Macaws. We received clear instructions to the place and the local caretaker was waiting to let us in and deliver all the info we needed. Great location too - short drive to MA park, beaches (possible to walk to, although the way down is STEEP), and a wide selection of very good restaurants. As noted in other reviews, there is no AC, but we adjusted and were very happy with this place overall! Would love to stay again.

Wow. Just Wow!! Before I tell you how amazing this place is I do have to admit that we were deeply regretting our life choices as we climbed all of those stairs in the extreme heat and humidity. We definitely need to go back to the gym. That said, the house is magical! The views are stunning from every room. Breathtaking views of sunsets AND sunrises. House was spotless which is amazing for an open air location. Tom was great with responses. Bismarck and his wife were lovely and helpful and take such great care of the property. We had everything we needed and more. We looked forward to every morning coffee on the porch watching toucans, monkeys, iguanas, and so many kinds of birds. Best view was the gorgeous macaw we watched from the bathroom window while showering one morning. The moment we arrived the first thing we did was try to extend our 3 night stay longer because we knew we were going to love this place! Be aware of the stairs and book it anyway! Thank you! We'll be back.

This was one of my favorite airbnbs ever! The house has a lot of character. It reminded me of Swiss Family Robinson with the rustic home and panoramic views all around. We woke up one night to Howler monkeys. We walked to two different beaches. We saw monkeys, a Macau and much more. We didn't go to Manuel Antonio park because we saw a sloth every day at the beach. The walkway up to the house was a beautiful hike. Thank you Bismarck. This house made our first trip to Costa Rica amazing! Thank you for our amazing time. We loved your home.

This is by far the best place we stayed in whilst we tripped around Costa Rica. We so loved relaxing on the balconies with the breathtaking view from both the lounge and the bedroom. Be prepared to walk up a few steps to get there - a price well worth paying. Bismark was an exceptional and attentive host who helped us out whenever we needed and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.
