Karina’s place was immaculate-it’s clearly a true labour of love. We had the most amazing 3 night stay and absolutely loved every aspect of it. The property is beautifully designed and, as some previous reviewers have mentioned, it looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. The outdoor space was outstanding. We made full use of the heated pool, which was incredibly welcoming and perfect for relaxing. And the views were simply breathtaking. We weren’t able to see much of Arenal Volcano during most of our stay, although we did catch a glimpse on one day when the clouds cleared up a bit. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and this is without a doubt one of the best we’ve ever experienced !

We loved our stay here! Beautiful setting! For the price we wished the mattresses were higher quality, my husband had to switch to couch!

Karina’s home was beautiful, and truly the nicest rental home we’ve stayed in. The house is so well maintained and clean. Our kids loved the pool, and we loved that every bedroom has its own spacious bathroom. We traveled with our kids and our parents, and the house was perfect for all three generations.

Superb Airbnb. We stayed during August, so most afternoons were quite rainy. Our whole family were happy to spend the time at the property. The pool was great with a stunning view and peaceful surrounds. Couldn't have asked for more. La Fortuna was the only place we hired a car in CR and I would recommend it to stay here. Although I did check Uber and there were 8 cars operating within 5 minutes if you really don't want to drive.

Such a cool spot! Very private yet just a short drive or even walkable to La Fortuna with plenty of restaurants and grocery store. The pool was perfectly heated and enjoyed by all members of our family from young boys to grandparents. We stayed during the rainy season so Arenal was hidden much of the time but was breathtaking and RIGHT there when they clouds cleared. I loved the sounds of birds, cows, and nature that surrounded us. The home is new and pristine, rainfall showers were awesome. Highly recommend!!

Our family loved staying here. The location is incredible - peaceful but also conveniently just a few minutes away from activities. The layout was perfect for our family. The pool is amazing. The reviews before us were spot on. The pictures do not do it justice. Such a memorable place to stay.

Beautiful Airbnb and perfectly heated pool in a private location with majestic volcano views. The kitchen was awesome and the outdoor covered seating area was so convenient for rainy days. An excellent place for a family to relax within a short drive of La Fortuna!

The house is superb and everything is included, from kitchen accessories to Tupperware... :) The kitchen is complete, large and well appointed. The bedrooms are huge, as are the bathrooms. The 28'x16' heated swimming pool is in front of a beautiful outdoor porch where you can spend your evenings. There were no mosquitoes, none! We went on a 4x4 trip to visit the Arenal, went horseback riding to get to La Fortuna Waterfall and of course the hot springs. There is a free one right next to the Tabacon hotel! Really a great experience. I would come back to this beautiful Villa Laurel anytime. You feel at home, and it's really private, clean, new, and safe. Thank you so much.

Karina’s house is amazing. We have a family of 5, which consists of three teenagers. This was the perfect place for us! The view of the Arenal Volcano from the back patio/pool deck was beautiful. The house was absolutely spotless and comfortable. Karina is a great communicator, which made the entire process seamless. Any question we had, she answered promptly. We also loved that the privacy of this location. There is one Villa next door, but you wouldn’t know it while inside the house or in the pool. It’s just off the main road through La Fortuna, so you’re away from the busy streets and noise. However, it’s a quick short drive into town for anything you want to do. We would highly recommend this house to anyone that plans to spend more than a couple nights in La Fortuna, especially if you have kids!

This home was so amazing both inside and out. Our family loved all the space provided inside, and all three bedrooms had their own private bath! The patio and heated pool were wonderful and the views of Arenal are incredible! We were staying at a nearby resort that felt cramped and overcrowded and were lucky enough to find this beautiful property available during our time in La Fortuna. Karina was fantastic as a host! And very understanding when we discovered a flat tire on our rental car the morning we were to checkout. Stay here! You will not regret it.

Amazing Airbnb. Best view, super clean, everything inside that you need. Super comfortable beds, heated pool, Gas BBQ if you want to cook outside, UNO to play at night. Amazing surroundings and super close to town. Complimentary delicious coffee. Clear instructions throughout the house and from Host. They ask you to separate trash to take care of environment. Would have loved to stay there longer and if in La Fortuna, I would definitely go back.

Wonderful place! Beautiful, clean, and comfortable! The pool was perfect. Villa Laurel had everything we needed- and more!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Villa Laurel. An amazing property that was just perfect for our party of 6. The kitchen was well equipped giving us the ability to cook especially with the outdoor grill. The pool and deck area was an amazing hangout space - waking up early and just sitting out poised for views of the volcano and wildlife was one of the many highlights of our vacation. Toucans, hummingbirds were a plenty. The property itself is very well positioned - midway between the thermal baths and the town of Fortuna - but a short distance off the main road which meant it was quiet and felt very private. We enjoyed many activities - and all a short accessible drive away. Karina and Pamela were wonderful hosts - communications were friendly, instructive and timely. Overall we don’t hesitate in recommending this property! Our only regret is not being able to stay longer
