Had a great time at rancho villa mar azul. The host Ericka, Margarita and her husband were helpful and kind. We actually didn’t have a cook but were able to order from a wonderful lady Nina Tita’s home restaurant. Her food is superb - breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend. (Two home down to this rancho) just order and they deliver. Made our stay even better — since we were in the pool the whole day. 😆 we love Ericka’s rancho. Perfect vacation! Thank you again!!!

Had a wonderful stay! The pool was great, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beach was just a short walk away, which was perfect for our group. The dining and common areas were spacious, so cooking and sharing dinner together as a large group was easy and fun. Everything matched the listing’s description and photos exactly, no surprises. The host and housekeepers were welcoming and gracious throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay again!

You can write it in a clearer and more respectful way, but honestly: Ericka is very friendly, attentive and responds quickly to any questions. However, our experience with the house was not good and, in our opinion, it was not worth the price we paid. Although the property has nice features and potential, it is quite neglected and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. We found cockroaches and cats inside the property. The utensils and dishes were not properly stored and smelled musty or old, and both the bathrooms and some walls were dirty. I believe that with better maintenance and a deeper cleaning, the experience could be considerably improved.

It is unfortunate that after I had to remind you that you had stayed longer than the check out time without purchasing extra time, you decided to express lies about the property. If you were indeed uncomfortable and felt it was dirty and with everything else you said, why did you stay passed the check out time? It took a couple of reminders to you by my staff and by myself to get you all out of the property. You obviously liked it, but were unhappy after few reminders to check out. Throughout your stay, you were happy and never ever reported anything of concern. To my future guests: At Villa Mar Azul, we take cleanliness to high standards and when incidents are reported during your stay, we immediately take care of them.

Very nice place, close to the beach. The house is comfortable and has a clean pool. The neighborhood is attractive and quiet, and the host is great — he always helps and cares a lot about the guests.

It was just what we needed for our family holiday vacations. We had a wonderful time and really like d the place. It’s just as announced and the communication was really good with the host. Margarita was the nicest as well. Highly recommend!

Our family had a great time staying at Ericka's beach house. The caretakers ( Margarita and husband) were very nice and accommodating. The beach house itself was clean, beautiful, lots of space, and well equipped. Ericka was always available and fast as replying to messages. She added lots of extra amenities to make the stay enjoyable, relaxing, and comfortable - board games, pool toys, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels. Kitchen has drinking water dispenser, ice maker, blender, coffee maker. Neighborhood feels safe, had restaurants, tiendas, and pupuserias. We love the daily morning street vendors passing by selling vegetables, fruits, and bread. Walking distance to the beach. Beach is surfable and we had the waves to ourselves - not crowded like other surf breaks in Libertas and El Tunco. Our family will definitely go back when we visit El Salvador. I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful place, very close to the beach, very good food in the restaurant next to the house, Erika always responds quickly and Margarita is also very attentive. 100% recommended!
