All we can say is wow! The house is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. The place was Immaculate and cleaned every day. It was literally a 3 minute drive from downtown. Wonderful place, wonderful management, wonderful views and vibe. We were very very sad to leave.

My friends and I had the best time at this place! We arrived to a stunning sunset, which we got to enjoy from the open air living room. The home is just like the photos - modern, interesting architecture, comfortable furniture and beds, and spacious. The air conditioned bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable, and the way they are connected made for easy communication and hanging out. The kitchen is the best outfitted kitchen I've ever stayed at! The amount of dishes, utensils, pots and pans, Tupperware, glasses and coffee cups; you name it, they have it. The pool was relaxing to chill in and watch the birds in the trees. Watch the steps though! The large, main area is actually a nice sunning ledge, and not a traditional set of stairs. The loungers were comfortable and shaded with umbrellas. Everything was top notch and pampering. A maid comes daily to clean and replenish linens. A landscaper and pool guy come a couple times a week, and are there for a short amount of time.

This house is exactly as described and photographed. The views from the house and the pool area, especially around sunset, are stunning. The house was clean, and the furnishings and decorations are clearly high end. The communication with property management exceeded my expectations. Whenever I had a question, even months before the stay, I would receive a very quick and accurate response. If I were to offer one comment to future renters, being someone from a cooler climate, if you visit Tamarindo during a particularly warm stretch of weather, the indoor-outdoor concept of the home means that the living areas of the house could be warm and humid. BUT, you the good news is that you can always retreat to the amazing pool and the air conditioned bedrooms. Plus there is also plenty of shade and as a bonus, the pool area contains an ice machine for your refreshing drinks. Thank you for an amazing stay! We loved our time in Tamarindo!

Hard to explain how gorgeous of a property this is. Pics don’t do it justice. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted with the ocean horizon and an of immediate sense of calm. Design throughout the house is 10/10 - our group felt right at ease and loved every second. Perfect proximity to town. Just close enough to be near the action, but somewhat removed - a true sanctuary. Hosts were also so communicative and kind. Can’t wait to return. Pura vida !

An incredible luxury retreat in Tamarindo! The home is spacious, impeccably clean, and has the most gorgeous ocean views. The layout was perfect for our group, and we spent so much time enjoying the beautiful pool. It’s located in a peaceful, secure gated community but is super close to everything you need. Kristel was a fantastic, communicative host. 5 stars all around

This home was incredible, even better than the photos. It truly made our trip even better. The AC in the rooms was perfect, and everyone felt like they have enough space. Having cleaners come daily was such an added bonus as bugs did accumulate overnight, which was to be expected in an open air home. The views were absolutely stunning - we even saw monkeys the first morning playing in the trees. The pool temperature was perfect, and there were enough towels for everyone. If I go back to Tamarindo, I would have to stay here again and recommend it to any group going! The house guide had excellent recommendations for golf carts, airport transportation and restaurants and everything went seamlessly!!

We had the most amazing stay!!! The house is even more beautiful in person! Truly one of the best Airbnbs. 10/10. Here's what we loved the most: -Stunning views (can't see neighboring houses) -Bedrooms are air conditioned, clean, and comfortable -Kitchen had everything you'd need for cooking -Pool is clean and relaxing -Private community with security -The daily cleaning service and fresh towels were a huge plus -Great for a large group -Kristel was super responsive and gave us amazing recommendations for transportation, chefs, grocery stocking, and activities Things to flag, but these were NOT issues at all: -The driveway is on a very steep hill -Technically can walk to town, but you have to walk on the side of a busy road without a sidewalk. We just ubered. -Common areas are all outdoors (but covered overhead) -To get to two of the bedrooms on the downstairs level, you need to walk about 15 ft without cover overhead. Just notable if it's raining. Couldn't recommend more highly!

This home is breathtaking ! It is very well stocked and extremely clean . It felt like we were the first ones to ever stay in the home ! Kristel was extremely responsive ! We lived that we had a pamphlet in the home outlining all activities , restaurants etc. this made choosing places to go super simple with our group of 7. Was definitely the nicest place with the most beautiful view that our family has ever stayed ! We would love to return

Incredibly beautiful place. Clean, luxurious, spacious and comfortable. Exceeds expectations, if that’s even possible. It’s every bit as beautiful as in the pictures and more. The host is super friendly, responsive, proactive and very accommodating.

Was so honored to be able to stay at this place with friends. Alejandra was so sweet and accommodating and made additional accommodations to my group as well. The place was magical, the location was incredible and the people were so very nice! 10/10 recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at this home in Tamarindo. The house has a beautiful open-concept layout, an incredible infinity pool, and absolutely stunning views—especially at sunset. It felt private and peaceful, but still close enough to town to easily get to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We also had some up-close wildlife sightings during our stay, which made it feel even more special. Overall, it was a beautiful home in a great location and a perfect spot for a Costa Rica getaway.

Casa quetzal was truly breathtaking. We planned the trip for my 30th birthday & from the house to the host our experience was incredible. The home truly could be featured in architectural digest. I cannot recommend more booking with Kristel and planning a trip to her beautiful home, and explore Tamarindo.
