We cannot say enough great things about this place. We definitely recommend having a truck because the road to go uphill was bumpy but the space was beautiful. They were responsive when we got lost and the groundskeeper for the home and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the stay. We hope to be back in a few months

Amazing stay overall and a great experience from start to finish. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The host was responsive and made everything smooth and easy. One thing to note: the road leading to the property is not just a normal dirt road—it’s very rocky and can be a bit rough to drive, so just come prepared for that. Also, I’d definitely recommend wearing bug repellent, as there are quite a few bees around the area. That said, the caretaker who lives on-site was incredibly kind and helpful. They even offered to drive up and down the road for us because of the conditions, which really showed how much they care about guests. Overall, it was a great stay with genuinely thoughtful people behind it. I’d absolutely recommend it—just come prepared and you’ll enjoy it. 5/5 ⭐️

Really lovely place and ideal if you wanna be a little outside of SJDS. It’s beautiful, quite and communication was easy and fast. Joel who takes care while you stay is a super lovely and helpful guy. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful villa! The location is beautiful, the views are beautiful and the courtyard is convenient. You should still know that there are a lot of mosquitoes and insects so be prepared to have some insects in the rooms especially in the private cabanas. Despite this detail, the hosts are very kind and accommodating in case of problems. Also keep in mind that the road is quite rocky as mentioned in the listing. In general, a very nice location!

We loved our stay at Villa Paraiso del Sur. The sunsets are breathtaking and you can enjoy them while you cook from the open kitchen. The temperatures at night, with a breeze through the screen doors, was always comfortable for sleeping without the need for air conditioning. Our teenagers spent lots of time in the hammocks. The main house with two cabanas provided plenty of space for the six of us. Joel and Elisabeth are very friendly and helpful. The hosts are very responsive and offered tips and recommendations when requested. We would absolutely stay at Villa Paraiso again.

We loved our stay at Villa Paraiso del Sur! The place was perfect to drop off friends and family before or after a day of discovering Nicaragua. Since the common areas have no exterior walls, we always felt like we were outside, which was great. The outside temperature was very pleasant so we didn't miss the air conditioning at all, on the contrary. The views are also spectacular! The hosts and people who take care of the house were able to respond quickly to our various questions and requests before and during the reservation. They have always been very friendly and accommodating. Small points to consider: the road to get there is very bumpy and steep, which can make the journeys a little difficult. The proximity to the outdoors has advantages, but also some disadvantages, we had to get out of the tarantulas a few times (it didn't bother us, but it's not for everyone!).

This was our second time renting the house, we love it. It's perfect to stay with 2 families and kids. We love the space and the pool area with stunning sunsets 🧡.

Great location once you got there! The caretaker Joel was awesome and helped with picking us up and saving the taxi from getting stuck on the 4WD road. Beautiful place with open kitchen living room, everything you needed. Pool was nice, shower and pressure was good. Fridge was big, drinking water good, and communication was great. The Road - you need a 4WD and low gear to get there. If it rains the road gets gnarly it’s not far and the view is with it but be prepared to bump on the road. San Juan del Sur is an awesome spot with great beaches and restaurants/ bars.

This is the second time we visit this amazing place and as usual we felt warm and welcome, we really had a great time, the place is so beautiful and peaceful with a great view super clean, the pool is private so you don’t have to worry about sharing it with someone else, Juan and Carol are always responsive they help you with everything you need, and Joel and his family who are the ones taking care of the property they are always willing to help they are very friendly and polite and they go beyond to help you in everything you need. We had such an amazing time 100% recommended.
