Esteban

Esteban and Rosamaria were very kind and gracious hosts! Their Hospedaje is clean and beautiful with nice outdoor seating areas, beautiful flowers, and comfortable beds and sleeping areas. We stayed for just two nights but would have been happy to stay for longer.

Very nice little place, very bright, very pleasant. Esteban is very welcoming, and helpful. Well-equipped kitchen, we spent two nights, it was very nice 😊 I highly recommend it. 👍🏻

The AirBnB is beautiful, a cabin that makes you feel immersed in the woods, spacious and cozy. The location is optimal and Esteban was super friendly, always responding on time. One felt at home.

Estaban was a very helpful host. The accommodation was amazing & very close to the Cloud Forest Reserve. I highly recommend using this property for your stay in Monteverde.

Esteban’s place was so clean and he was very welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. You can tell he and his wife take much pride and care of the entire property, which seems to include 3 separate apartments. He is available at a reception area from 6:30am-9:30pm, very long hours but reflective of his dedication. We asked about laundry service and he suggested several options, but they offer it for $10/load, which was well worth it to us since we arrived with wet clothes from our prior stop. There were plenty of warm blankets on the bed for the cooler nights. Overall it was a great stay.

Neatly neat house. Very large. I really liked the price-quality ratio. We were very close to the entrance of the park we had an early tour and we didn't have to drive from home very early because we only had to drive a little bit to the park. I do recommend a 4*4 car. We had 2*4 and missed a 4*4. Monteverde itself is a very nice village. A bit touristy, but after seeing many other not touristy places in Costa Rica at all, I liked that for a while. House was large and has a strikingly beautiful light during the day. We were very satisfied. Also nice was the laundry service that was provided. As a result, we didn't have to go all the way to the village with the laundry. There is a good, large oven in the apartment and a good gas stove so you can cook in the house yourself.

The apartment is very spacious and extremely clean. Check-in was straightforward. Very good location by car to Santa Elena and on foot to the cloud. The highlight was the many monkeys on our terrace.

beautiful apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen and laundry area.. parking in front of the house. They made the beds and changed the towels. Surrounded by the forest...upon waking up the cappuccine monkeys were on our balcony! Very close to the park and the village (restaurants, chocolate sale, etc.). Great value for money. Ultra recommended!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment Ideal for 4 people as each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped. The Cloudforest in Monteverde is within a 20-minute walk of the property.

This was the PERFECT one night stop to tour the Cloud Forest. We stayed here between La Fortuna and Dominical. It is close the the Cloud Forest and peaceful. Esteban was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with. You just can’t beat the value for the location and cleanliness.

We had a lovely stay at Eteban's place. The space was clean, functional, and communication with Esteban was very good. We recommend 100%.

Esteban was a gracious host, very kind and helpful. The place was very spacious, very clean, surrounded by lush trees that the birds were flying around in. Kitchen amenities were basic but good. The housekeeping service (beds made, bathrooms cleaned, fresh towels) was a pleasant unexpected surprise! It was a bit out of town, so a car was necessary but it didn’t take long to get there. It was only a few minutes away from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve. Overall a wonderful stay and we would definitely return.
