Wow! This 3-story beach house exceeded all of my expectations. We brought a big group of 11 family and friends for a 3-night getaway, and it was pure paradise for me. It's already perfect for big groups, but they also have a studio apartment on the first floor you can rent if you have an even larger group of people! Communication was a breeze because Maria responded to our requests within a few minutes every single time. The property is gorgeous, spacious, and packed with great amenities. Having reliable AC in every bedroom plus many fans throughout the house kept us comfortable, and they even provided a ton of towels and relaxing hammocks. Between the awesome pool, the grill for group dinners, and the wildlife watching (we saw so many beautiful macaws and parrots), we never wanted to leave. The absolute best part was having complimentary kayaks and paddleboards ready for us to use every day. Thank you, Maria, for an incredible stay in Puerto Jimenez—we highly recommend this gem!

My friend and I had a lovely three night stay. We’ve been to the peninsula five times before so we know what to expect climate wise. The humidity in June is quite high but the AC units in the bedrooms kept us comfortable while sleeping. The little beach area is heaven. So private. The pool is refreshing and surprisingly fun especially considering it’s above ground. I thought it would be like a children’s wading pool. Maria thought of everything. We brought two well behaved dogs and she had rough towels so we could dry them after rinsing the sand off them. The one and ONLY annoyances were the tiny ants at in the kitchen and bathrooms. They are common and normal in Costa Rica. Just wipe up messes and don’t leave food out and you’re good. One of the best accomodation for families in the entire peninsula.

What a perfect place to experience the Osa! Maria was a wonderful host from start to finish. She helped us with some great local recommendations for tours, showed us how to open coconuts, and offered fresh tuna catches from her fisherman friends. We loved learning about all of the flowers she's planted around the place and having such a perfect home for our big group to come back to after each day. Hanging out on the deck under the fans was a great way to see lots of wildlife. Also highly recommend getting out in the mangroves in the kayaks. It really felt like Maria was invested in us having a great time and that was probably the best thing about this booking =)

Booked this place for my husband and some of his work buddies. They had a great time. Relaxing was their main goal and they were able to do just that!

The place is very quiet and private, surrounded by nature; you can see macaws just a few meters from the balconies.

Maria and her house far exceeded our expectations. The property was amazing and she did a great job ensuring we had the information we needed to enjoy Puerto Jimenez. I cant wait to go back!

We loved our stay at the beach house. We saw macaws and a troop of monkeys crossing the yard just sitting on the front deck! The view is beautiful and the yard is exquisite. The house has air conditioning in each of the 4 bedrooms which was much appreciated considering the humidity, but the fans throughout the house and porch gave additional air so sitting on the porch was where we spent most of our time. The house is equipped with everything you need from beach towels, chairs, yoga mats, etc to meet any and all needs. The house is walkable to several great restaurants looking out over the bay and also some great places in town. Maria was a great host and organized a chocolate tour for my family which was a huge success. Super responsive and provided any insights we needed throughout our trip. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back!!

Fantastic place! Would stay there again. Near Corcovado and on the water. Maria was great.

The place will take your breath away!!!

The Playa Preciosa area and the house are very nice. We loved it, we had everything we needed to make the most of the facilities and amenities offered by the house. For reasons beyond the host's control, we had no electricity service, but the house has everything you need for those cases. Excellent service from Maria the host.

Maria’s beach house had a fabulous vibe, steps from the water, animal viewing from the deck and comfortable. Maria was a fabulous host, easy to communicate with, knowledgeable and responsive. She had great recommendations which helped make our stay even better. The house is old and has a very authentic feel. A few small additions and upgrades would make it phenomenal. Our group enjoyed our stay here!!
