We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Grillo! The house was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect home base for exploring San Juan del Sur and the surrounding beaches. We especially loved the setting at Big Sky Ranch, it felt private and relaxing while still being close enough to everything we wanted to do. The home itself was comfortable, well designed, and had everything we needed for our stay. One of our favorite parts was being able to start the day slowly, enjoy breakfast at the house, and take in the beautiful surroundings before heading out to explore. Kallie was also incredibly helpful and made everything feel easy from start to finish. Casa Grillo was such a special part of our Nicaragua trip, and we would absolutely stay here again!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience before, during, and after our stay! The host went above and beyond with every detail, recommendation, and reference! We had the most memorable stay with everything at our fingertips! We will definitely be back and will not even look to stay anywhere else. The host was so helpful, responsive, and had the best recommendations that we used everyday! A rental car with 4WD is a must!! Ask about the chef when booking and the massage therapist!!! So happy with everything that came with this air bnb along with the flexibility of cleaners, check in, and availability! 10000 stars if I could!

Hands down the best Airbnb we have stayed at. The villa is beautifully designed, just as advertised. The outdoor area and the pool were amazing, with beautiful and peaceful surroundings and an unobstructed view of the ocean. The host Kallie is very responsive and gave us amazing tips for activities and restaurants. She even recommended a private chef who we ended up hiring and were very pleased with. There was always someone there to help us in case we needed something. We had a late flight from Managua so Kallie was very kind to stay in the house for a very late check-out. The house comes with a cute cat, Sunny!! Thank you Kallie! We thoroughly enjoyed enjoy our stay at Casa Grillo.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Grillo! It is a very tranquil place that looks just like the pictures, there is a house cat – sunny who is the cutest thing ever! Kallie was very responsive and had many suggestions - all of which we took and all were amazing. It is definitely a place where you would want a car as the walk up and down the hill is extremely strenuous – and long to get to a restaurant. There are some critters at night as it is in the forest area - but the very helpful house staff can help get rid of the bugs if needed! Overall, an amazing stay!

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed every moment we spent there. The view was incredible, and we took advantage of the chef that was recommended to us, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend booking a stay here, and I look forward to coming back in the future.

We had an amazing stay. Our host was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from beginning to end. The property itself was a true peaceful retreat, beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. You can really feel the care that has gone into every detail. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and memorable getaway.

The house is so beautiful and peaceful. Kallie was so helpful with many brilliant, tailored recommendations as well as assistance with anything we needed. It really made the stay extra special because we felt so well looked after. We surfed all the beaches near by the house and enjoyed a few of the local restaurants and bars which are around if you want them but the house is isolated and you have to drive everywhere (exactly what we wanted) but worth noting depending on the holiday you want! Personally I couldn’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely stay again if we return to Nicaragua!

Beautiful house! Despite the fact that Kallie was far away (traveling), communication was easy. She really made sure our experience was the best possible. All the staff were welcoming and kind. The house was great, really like the pictures. We felt safe I highly recommend Escameca Beach. Ask Freddy! He will guide you there (no clear indication on the road) I advise you not to rely on google maps to find the entrance to the Ranch, the app directed us to a bad entrance, in addition to ignoring the new road that has just been built! We will certainly have very nice memories of this nice house. Thank you!

I just finished an absolutely unbelievable five-week stay at Casa Grillo, Big Sky Ranch at Kallie’s place, and it was truly a home away from home. Kallie is hands-down the best host we have ever had. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, showing us around town and introducing us to all the best local spots and activities. Since we were staying for over a month, her local knowledge was invaluable for helping us settle in. The staff she has on-site were also fantastic—they were so helpful and kept everything perfectly clean. If you are looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to stay in Nicaragua, I cannot recommend Kallie’s Casa Grillo, Big Sky Ranch enough!

We spent one week in this house and had a wonderful stay. The sea view is fantastic, and the house is very well equipped. It corresponds 100% to the photos. You can clearly see the love for detail throughout the house, and we especially appreciated the good basic supply of food such as coffee, oil, and spices. The location is ideal, close to several beautiful beaches. However, having a car is definitely necessary. Kallie and her team do an excellent job and truly make your vacation comfortable and enjoyable. We would happily return.

Kallie was an amazing host! She was super responsive and her recommendations were spot on (we literally did everything she recommended). I can’t begin to describe the home. The view was breathtaking and the surroundings brought on so much peace. I also cannot write this without mentioning Sunny (the cat who lives in the property). He was also an amazing host! Always cute and ready for pets!
