This place was absolutely incredible for the price and everything we were able to experience. During our stay, we saw an unbelievable amount of wildlife, monkeys right on our balcony, sloths with their babies, toucans in the mornings from the restaurant, and so much more. It truly felt like being immersed in the jungle, and the best part is that you get to see all of this without needing to pay for any extra parks or admissions. Everything was very clean, and the staff made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. They were extremely responsive and even have a golf cart service that takes you up to the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which was such a great touch. We did have a small hiccup with our room one night, but the next morning the general manager was incredibly kind, moved us to another room, and even upgraded us, which we really appreciated. The restaurant views are absolutely stunning, I could honestly go on and on about how amazing this place is.

While it's not what you expect when you think of an Airbnb (it's a hotel), it's a curious place with its own hanging walkways and large forest/garden. The views from the restaurant upstairs are highly recommended. The staff is very attentive and professional. The room is basic, but sufficient. A ceiling fan would help those of us who are not fans of air conditioners. I understand that it is surrounded by nature, but a little silicone on the windows would help keep ants from coming in. In short, a practical option to spend a night if you are going to Manuel Antonio.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the accommodation, as it is not just a hotel, but a whole park area, which can be used by guests. The rooms are in a small house. The restaurant, where there is a great breakfast buffet and cocktails and dinner in the evening, can either be reached in 5 minutes on foot (but is very steep), or via suspension bridges through the small jungle, or you will be picked up and driven by a golf cart of the staff at any time. Communication worked quickly and easily via a messenger service. The restaurant has a beautiful view of nature, we were lucky and were able to watch 2 sloths and tucans from close to 2 meters. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and explain a lot about the animals and nature. Directly at the restaurant there are also some higher-priced rooms with an even better view - but unfortunately they were fully booked.

the location is good as it's in manuel amtonio. the hanging bridges are cool and the top of the park is beautiful. the room was small and the vibe is definitely more for kids. the people were all extremely nice and helpful!

Overall we had a good stay and the park definitely has potential to be great but a lot of it is still under construction and there are a few abandoned areas which gives it a bit of a strange feel. The hanging bridges were fun and the breakfast buffet was good. I feel that we could have been told more information at check-in, for example we only knew about the free tour due to reading previous reviews and we had to ask about this - the tour is worth doing so it’s a shame it wasn’t mentioned. Otherwise, good location and we saw a toucan onsite. Appreciated there was a golf buggy service up to the restaurant and really responsive over message.

Superb location of the hotel with incredible wildlife in the middle of the park: toucan, monkeys, Arras, birds etc....We did the tour with José, who is super friendly and we discovered well hidden animals. We didn't try the restaurant but the Happy Hour with cocktails was just perfect with an amazing view! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have any monkeys on our balcony! One downside though, the room is not well soundproofed. You can hear the other guests above... and the roosters and dogs barking a lot... fortunately not at night. I recommend this place which is still amazing given its location close to the park. The staff is very very kind!

The staff was LOVELY, and very friendly! Our room had an amazing view, and the AC worked wonderfully, cold the room down and kept it a comfortable temperature. The park itself, which the hotel is located in, had incredible wildlife– we saw monkeys within the first five minutes of being in our room and even had one on our balcony. We had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast included in the morning was delicious and bountiful. We saved lots of money because we only ate one other meal each day. The chef, Freddy, spoke perfect English, and was very engaging. The waiter who helped us each evening was sweet and lovely, we did not catch his name. He bartended, took orders, served food and cleaned up dishes with a smile on his face – worked really hard, but never seemed bothered. All of the staff was very warm and welcoming. One of the most amazing parts of the stay was hearing the jungle come alive early in the morning, the howling monkeys and birds— WOW!!!

Great place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and excellent free walking tour of the park. Saw lots of different wildlife. Lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the forest view. Restaurant is at the top of a very steep hill but fabulous views of the ocean and rainforest when you get there! The offer of a buggy to the top was available if we didnt fancy the climb which was welcome in the rain! Great breakfast and evening meal and very friendly helpful staff.

Yes, it’s under construction. But they were always done before dinner and they really didn’t start that early. They were conscientious of their guests, and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. This place is going to be incredible when they are finished, and I got to stay here! It is already beautiful and professionally run. The rooftop lounge was a great and classy place for cocktail hour which also had an amazing view. We stayed for dinner too. The chef came out to the table to discuss my allergy, then took the time to come out and check on our meals! It was simply delicious! Would highly recommend! The guides, reception and even our chauffeur in a UTV up to the restaurant was the best! Had a massage with Emzo, hands down the best theraputic massage! Just the best stay, felt so well taken care of. Walked the hanging bridges with a guide, had a lovely walk through the grounds viewing all the wildlife.

we were already allowed to enter the accommodation earlier. The staff were very nice and helpful. We were even able to have breakfast earlier because we had to leave before 7 o'clock. The breakfast was very tasty. You don't notice the construction site on the mountain at all. We could see several red aras from very close on the tour of the park in the evening, which was an insane experience. In the morning, 2 capuchin monkeys came on the suspension bridge. In addition, some lizards. You could also hear howling monkeys in the evening. we highly recommend the place. gladly again.

I loved the place, I would actually go again we actually saw more animals in this stay than Manuel Antonio, so I recommend them more to explore this place, the breakfast was quite good and the staff was very friendly, I would definitely go again.

Accommodation exceeded our expectations. The Hotel is beautiful, with activities to do. The location is excellent and allowed us to make the most of the area. But what really stood out was the attention received. The host was attentive to every detail, making sure we were not short of anything and giving us a warm and close treatment. I would definitely recommend this place for those looking for a complete and enjoyable experience. --- Would you like something different?

The room was clean and adequate, however the park itself was erry and abandoned as if it had been neglected completely. Was told that there were facilities such as a spa, cafe and pool to use, however once we found it, it was completely under construction or abandoned . As soon as we made this aware to the host they lacked response time. It was a very weird situation we had to stay elsewhere. Had so much potential :(

Lily, it seems there is some confusion that needs to be clarified. There is a new hotel that is under construction, but it is at the top of the mountain which is far from the hotel that is listed with Airbnb. You must have gone to the wrong part of the property. The rooms in the building that are listed are not near the construction area and are fully operational. There is no construction activity near that building. The nature park is also fully operational and there is no construction activity in the nature park. None of the rooms currently under construction have been listed with Airbnb yet. We have had many positive reviews in the past month, praising the park, the wildlife, and the service. We are very sorry for any misunderstanding, but I believe you did have the opportunity to speak with the appropriate staff member and this was explained to you.

This is a good little place with a little room for improvement. The Pros: - There is definitely lots to do and explore, the hanging bridges, walking trails, and nature. - Check-in was super easy, they send you a video with all the instructions and the pin for your smart lock. - Clean room and at a good price The Cons: - There is a lot of construction on the site and it is not securely cordoned off. I don't care but it may be an issue for guests with curious children. - It takes the host a little bit to reply, and the restaurant and bar close really early and are not open on Sundays. - They have a main gain with a passcode but it was not active during the time we were there. We did not feel unsafe at any point but I can see how it can be an issue for guests that may travel by themselves or do not speak Spanish. - Host could be a little quicker to respond. Final Thoughts: Overall, I would still recommend but keep the few caveats in mind.

Free included breakfast was great. Free tour was also great, we saw two sloths on the property, mot mot, poison dart frog and much more! We weren’t lucky enough to see a monkey on our balcony but we saw so many elsewhere in Manual Antonio it was okay. The only thing to consider is carrying up luggage up the very steep stairs. A lot of the property was under construction so it wasn’t polished but the views at the top of the restaurant are great.

This place is just as described, but has more amenities than advertised. The rooms are set up like a basic hotel room, but they feel clean/modern and have everything you need. The entire staff is so friendly and the complimentary breakfast is so good. I actually couldn’t believe how much they offer guests for the price per night. I would highly encourage you to schedule a massage with Wendolyn, and a tour with Jose. You don’t be disappointed! We loved it and are so grateful they hosted us. Thank you again. Pura Vida!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Mountain Top Park!! It felt very exclusive and peaceful. We were able to have a couples massage at the top of the mountain and enjoy drinks at the bar with an amazing view of the ocean to the west and the mountains to the east. Jose and the whole staff were so kind and made us feel at home! Jose gave use a tour of the property through the suspension bridges and we saw a toucan, sloths, parrots, and other fun creatures! The breakfast provided was incredible as well. If you’re looking for a place to stay close to Manuel Antonio park where you can feel like you are truly one with nature this is the spot! Again we want to give a shoutout to Jose who became a friend!!

The location was okay. You do need a car to explore the area nearby. We had a morning tour but it was now occupied by other paid guests who wanted to do the suspension bridges so we had to adapt to another time. We thought it was very strange. From finally got a tour from someone the day after, but this person had to be called and was not aware that we would do the tour that day. Other rooms are fine. Feel safe, neat rooms and nice views.

I had an unforgettable stay at this jungle oasis! The spacious room provided a serene retreat amidst the lush greenery, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The highlight of my mornings was the delicious breakfast, which featured local fruit, freshly squeezed juice, and delicious eggs and toast. But the real magic happened during the jungle tour hosted by the amazing Jose. Walking across the hanging bridges was an exhilarating experience, offering panoramic views of the breathtaking scenery. Spotting a sloth in its natural habitat was a dream come true, and Jose's knowledge about the local animals added depth to the adventure. Overall, this AirBnB provided the perfect combination of comfort, adventure, and hospitality. I can't wait to return and explore even more of this enchanting jungle paradise with Jose as my guide. Highly recommended for nature lovers seeking an authentic and immersive experience!

Thank you for your kind words! Hope to see you again!

The park is impressive in nature with its hanging bridges, monkeys, lazy, toucans, etc ... The view from the top of the park is breathtaking, ideal for the sunset. The accommodation is identical to the description and of good standing, it is necessary to have a good physical shape to carry the suitcases, because the access is by stairs. Hearty breakfast. A big thank you to José, who animates the visit of the park and who made us discover our first sloth, always good advice, he mastered his subject and is available for any information. The park also offers a zipline activity that runs safely and gives good sensations. Thank you to the team, we will keep an unforgettable memory of our stay.

This was such a unique experience! Staying at the adventure park provided access to a complimentary tour of the park including a hiking trail, the hanging bridges and a viewpoint at the top of the park providing unparalleled views of Manuel Antonio. The room itself was perfect for a solo traveler, but it would comfortable fit 2 people. A hearty breakfast which consisted of fruit, eggs, potatoes, toast, juice and a coffee was provided every morning. There is a restaurant and bar the the top of the adventure park and Jorge was so friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the food, drinks, view and most importantly, the company. As described, this Airbnb is at the highest point in Manuel Antonio and a majority of the city is very hilly. I didn't have my own vehicle, so getting around in the city on foot was fairly difficult. If you plan accordingly with transportation (rental car, Uber, taxi), you should be fine. I would stay at this Airbnb again!

Our stay at Mountain top park was wonderful. Rajab and Lori made us feel right at home and getting there was easy. They were fast to reply and were super accommodating to our last min stay. The room was just as described and very comfortable and clean and with an amazing jungle view and the hanging bridges right out our door. A highlight of the stay was that were visited all morning by a big group of monkeys and it was so fun to watch them up close. We were also served a great local breakfast by the staff on the jungle deck area and it was a great way to start a day of adventure. :) I would totally recommend to stay at mountain top park!
