Amazing stay and experience with Alex and his family. Clean and spacious place with a modern touch. Alex and his family were very responsive and extremely helpful throughout the stay. From small requests like an extra washcloth to recommendations on food/activities, Alex will not only provide a list of options but will go the extra mile in offering transportation to get you to where you want to be. Truly enjoyed my stay in Alex’s property, couldn’t have asked for more.

It’s in a complex of 5 other houses very close by, one house next door is under construction. It shares a wall with the neighbors side yard where a pig lives. The loft is really not usable. The makeshift stairs to get up there are extremely steep and since there’s no AC in the house it’s extremely hot and stuffy up there. There was no top sheet for the bed in the master bedroom and only a blanket which is weird. You can’t flush the toilet paper down the toilet you have to put it into a trash can. Overall it’s not a bad place but for the amount you pay in that area I think there are better options.

Hi Jeffrey! Sorry if the house didn’t fulfill your expectations! It’s very clear in the description that this is a family compound where are other houses ! So far people love it and people who stay with us have a great experience and a great welcome from my family as all the reviews are showing and is not only me saying it! And Yes in Costa Rica YOU CANT put toilet paper inside the toilet 🚽 and everywhere in Costa Rica you will find a trash can in the bathroom to put the paper there, you have to understand other country’s systems before you make a complain! If a blanket or something was missing I wish you could tell me and we could help you right away that’s why we are here to help if anything you need I think you are just trying to make a bad review that’s it! I had many travelers coming to my home and I had no complains like yours but is ok ! I really appreciate your visit! And yes my mom has a mini pig as a pet and is so lovely and people love her! Her name is Muñeca and is like an attraction for people who stay with us they always want to take pictures! Thanks again

House is clean, beautiful and well-decorated. Full-equipped kitchen with nice utensils,even we found chopsticks and electric rice cooker. Alex is very easy to communicate and reply fast. His mom is a very nice person. I like talk with her. She has a small pig pet which is very cute. The most important is that I have to mention is MAGIC BALCONY of the house. Each day starting at 5:00 in the morning, if you are a bird-lover, you just need to sit on the chair holding with camera, many colorful birds coming to say HI. We took nearly 20 species birds only sitting on the balcony. Magnificent! Also the dusk is beautiful when viewing from balcony. At walking distance around 700 meters there are some local shops which can buy all cooked materials such as meat, vegetables, bread..etc.

His house was a great deal. It was beautiful inside—spacious and clean, tastefully decorated. He was very responsive and communicated well. My flight was late and he tried hard to contact me, despite my lack of internet. The only negative is the setting. We thought it was a house surrounded by nature but it was near other homes, kind of tight. We did feel safe though. Overall, a great deal.

Kitchen utensils (pans) are really poor quality, buy oil or butter, salt, pepper, a corkscrew, napkins, if you are planning on cooking at home, these essentials are lacking. Internet seems to be an issue as well, we were planning on working late and had no internet whatsoever, the host seems to go to bed early as well so there was no communication with him at all, we couldn’t solve the issue. Other than this, the house is pretty nice.

hi Erick im not sure what's the purpose of this bad review but we have everything thats necessary on the house! we even wait for you to check in after the check in time! so basically I stayed up late to wait for you and your family! we also helped you checking out late and you stayed even longer than the time I gave you! so from my side I did more than I should but im always happy to do that! regarding the oil it was missing but I gave you a new one right away so still im wondering why you want to affect my listing!

hi Chirstophe! im not sure if you saying this because your son make a hole in the wall of the room! I even didn't charged you for this! the house is well finished and everything is as the pictures! I was very kind on understanding that this could happens and thats why I didn't make any extra charge for you even I had to call a worker to repare it and pay my self for it!
