Had a wonderful stay at Dos Hijos in Playa Grande! The house is modern with really nice aesthetics, and everything was spotless. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, and we felt safe the whole time. Overall a great place and we’d definitely stay again!

What a great experience this property provides for its visitors. We were fortunate to rent the entire home, main house and thee one bed casitas. Walking distance to Playa Grande great surf, food and all activities. This is our 2nd time in Costa Rica and would highly recommend staying at Las Dos Hijas. Michael provided many important details about groceries stores, restaurants and activates prior to arriving which helped in planning our vacation. Top Notch and 5 Stars..

This place was great. Having a main house and then detached cabanas was perfect so that my kids could be loud when they were up early in the morning but not disturb the other families. We worked with Olivia to help coordinate a chef for the week who also incredible and I'd highly recommend you ask about her. Easy to work with, responsive to any issues or questions, great location, and a nice place. Can't wait to go back!

Micheal’s place was perfect for my family of 5! It was clean, comfy, great layout, loved the proximity to the beautiful beach, and the pool was great. Michael was a wonderful host, always responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Had a great time in Costa Rica! This was a great “home base” as we explored other parts of the country for jungle tours, fishing excursions and a boat tour. The house was stocked with basics so we didn’t need to shop for a lot of extras besides groceries. The AC worked great which was huge because this is the hottest time of the year in playa grande. Loved that there were a couple of restaurants literally next to/across from us to choose from. We mostly ate out at the charming, laid back and DELICIOUS restaurant Surf Dog (shout out to the best server EVER, Kai). Their staff served up cold drinks, tasty food and good recommendations of things to do in the area. They also had some great musicians several evenings. The owner and his team were super fast to respond when questions came up. Overall had a great time at the pool, watching the sunsets, hanging out with the beach dogs, seeing/hearing the howler monkeys in the trees, and just making memories with our family. Highly recommend!

Michael was an excellent host and the property was perfect for our group. We loved how accessible the beach was and appreciated Michael’s responsiveness and clear instructions to get in.

Had an absolutely lovely time in Playa Grande at Michael's place. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and we really enjoyed walking to the restaurants just a few steps away. We had some trouble finding the place at first - the instructions say "on the same property of Cantia's," but my guess is that Cantia's is now "Surf dogs." (It didn't help that we arrived after sunset!) Beautiful beach within a 2-min walk. I spent most of my mornings walking on the beach or attending a yoga/pilates class at Rip Jack's! Despite being right next to two bars, it really really wasn't loud at night. Very peaceful, fun, friendly neighborhood! Would definitely come back! Thank you, Michael.
