Villa SOJO

Villa Sojo was a fantastic place to stay. The location is hard to beat, right in the center of Santa Teresa’s main strip. Great restaurants are all within walking distance, as is a local supermarket. A larger, upscale grocery store is only a 5-minute drive away. The villa exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do it justice. It feels much larger in person, with a fully equipped kitchen and a great BBQ area that we used almost every day. Mile, our host, was responsive, arranged our buggies/UTVs before we arrived, and shared helpful local recommendations. The daily housekeeping was a huge plus. Maye kept the villa spotless, made all the beds, replaced the towels, and even did our laundry. It made the stay feel more like a hotel than a vacation rental, and we really appreciated the care she put into everything. The beach is just a short walk away, with lifeguard and several great beach bars. Sunsets are amazing! We would happily stay again if we ever make it back. Pura vida!

We had an incredible stay at Villa SOJO. The house is tranquil and well decorated, making you feel comfortable and relaxed. All of the bedrooms are spacious and calming, providing a chance to escape from your escape every once in a while if you need. We had 8 adults stay and the space was inviting and never overbearing among all of us. Only steps away from the beach and yet it still feels very removed from the business of Santa Teresa during the day. Everything in town is very walkable either down the beach or beside the road. Milena was also very delightful to accommodate all our needs, quick to respond and very friendly, making us feel at ease the moment we walked inside. This was our first time to Santa Teresa, and after such an unforgettable experience we can't wait to go back!

Great location just off the beach. The villa was quiet and super clean. The location is great as it’s walking distance to some of the better cafes in town. Kaukau was great for coffee and breakfast/lunches and Somos cafe and San Taco (some of the best tacos we’ve ever had) are also next door. The beach is stunning and if you’re surfing the break is within 3 min walk. Can recommend enough

We had an amazing stay and truly loved everything about this place. The location is unbeatable and made our time in Santa Teresa so easy and enjoyable. The host was incredibly easy to communicate with, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area, which made a huge difference for our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing stay. The villa itself is beautiful. It has been designed around the landscape, with trees growing through it and a wonderful indoor/outdoor feel around the pool. The location is great for walking directly into Santa Teresa while being steps from the beach, on one of the main paths to the beach. The downside is that there is music from the beach clubs and quads / bikes / shouting at night. In terms of service, great overall. The concierge service is really helpful. However, there is always someone in or around the villa. The gardener / pool guy comes twice a day and the cleaner comes from 10-3 every day! Obviously this means the property is kept immaculately, but at the same time someone is often in your space. Something for people with young kids to be aware of - the suites are all along an indoor/outdoor corridor so for a/c to work and to stop bugs the doors to need to be closed. These are all minor points for info, still one of the best places we have ever stayed!

We had an amazing time with my daughter and her friends at Villa Sojo. The house is stunning and the location perfect for exploring Santa Teresa. It is minutes from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Villa SOJO was truly incredible. Steps away from the beach, immaculately clean, and well stocked with anything we needed during our stay. The daily cleaning was a huge bonus. Highly highly recommended.
