We had the most amazing 9 day stay at Casa Anastasia. Our group included 4 adults and 3 teens. This house was absolutely perfect for all of us. We have honestly never stayed in a better place. One of our favourite parts was waking up and drinking coffee while listening to the sound of howler monkeys on the property. It was such a once in a lifetime experience for us, and something we will always remember. We spent so much of our time enjoying the space, picking fresh limes and mangos, relaxing in the pool, and just taking in the beautiful surroundings. We also had a chef with us who loved the outdoor cooking area. While she was cooking, some of us were in the pool, and some of us were playing games. The space worked perfectly for our group. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the whole house just made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time together. Anytime we had a question Joseph,Lucretia or Jose Luis responded so quickly, which we really appreciated. We loves it all.

This property is perfect for a large group. We utilized the al fresco kitchen every night, very convenient. The first night Joseph recommended and coordinated a dinner for us with Chef Franck. So thoughtful, we arrived late and hungry and were gratefully satiated. Thank you for sharing your comfortable home and thank you to Jose Luis for his silent presence.

Great hosts! Loved the place, me and my 7 friends stayed over for a trip and don’t regret a thing. Loved Costa Rica! The house is just as described, beautiful, gave villa vibes. Would highly recommend to anyone coming here!

This was an amazing trip and it was in thanks a great deal to staying here! The owner helped us make plans and book tours well ahead of our trip. He connected us with fantastic and reliable guides, drivers, and even a private chef and masseuse to come to house. The property manager was extremely responsive, friendly, and accommodating. She answered every question quickly - no matter when! She even made reservations for us! The onsite caretaker is very sweet! He helped us spot the howler monkeys in trees on site! He took great care of the property and made us feel secure. The house is comfortable and the grounds are spectacular. Honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had due to the people alone. We are already talking about going back!!

Very nice accommodation, the manager, the owner and Don Emiliano make for an incredible stay

This house transports you to a slice of paradise. Don’t let the drive to the house along dirt roads deter you from the prize at the end. We enjoyed mornings exploring the local areas with, afternoons by the pool and early nights. The groundskeeper was fantastic and made sure to always be available for anything we may need. We had monkeys to watch in the trees, adequate shade to hide under from the sun. It really was a fantastic trip.

Great stay, the host was always available to answer our questions and visit suggestions. Emiliano is very helpful, makes sure the pool and rancho are always clean and it gives a sense of security. And he would come and warn us every time he saw monkeys on the grounds. We saw spider monkeys, white-headed and howler monkeys in the trees at the front of the house. There was also a family of owls. The house matches the photos. The pool and ranchos are perfect for outdoor cooking and enjoying some shade. We are happy with our stay.

It’s is difficult to truly explain how amazing this location is. For starters, the location is beautiful and located in a very peaceful and lovely town called Sardinal. The land the property is on is amazing, I would say close to 4 acres, with many fruit trees and great shade from the warm sun. What was the most amazing for me was the monkeys who were in the trees for about half the days we were there. They climbed right above our heads, and we even got to sit under a tree that had about 20 howler monkeys in it (for hours!). Finally, the people are wonderful, Lucrecia, John, and Gianfranco all have excellent communication, and the grounds keeper (who truly is so much more than that), Emiliano was so incredibly helpful and excited to talk about all the different animals and plants. If I could give the location more than 5 stars I would. It is an excellent deal and was quite literally some of the best days of my life. I cannot recommend this location highly enough, it is truly paradise.

The place was awesome. Fruit trees everywhere. I think we drank coconut water everyday. Limes for your club soda or beer. The property guy Emiliano was very nice and helped whenever we needed something. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Anastasia! The kitchen was well-equipped and the master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Our kids loved the bunk beds. The extra fan upstairs helped for nights that were especially hot. There were plenty of bath and beach towels and lots of blankets. The grounds were stunning, creating the perfect vacation atmosphere. A special shoutout to Emiliano, the on-site caretaker—he did a wonderful job keeping the grounds, including the play areas, the on-site trail and the pool, clean. He was friendly and thoughtful and while his English is limited, he did a great job making us feel welcome. We'd give him 5/5 stars if we could! The pool was well maintained and there were pool toys and accessories available to use. The large dining area next to it was perfect for family meals outdoors. As expected in Costa Rica, there were a few friendly geckos, the occasional spider, plus roosters in the morning but it's just part of the tropical experience.

The pool and grounds were absolutely beautiful and the house was wonderful! Our party of two small families had plenty of room to spread out and relax, but also enjoyed time together in the fully equipped kitchen making family style meals. Everything we needed was provided and we slept well at night, in the nicely air conditioned rooms on comfy beds! Emiliano was the best and anticipated our every need around the house. Lucrecia was extremely communicative and was always available and beyond accommodating if we needed something or had questions. Our experience here will be cherished and we will be back, should we find ourselves in that neck of the woods again. Thank you Gianfranco, Lucrecia and Emiliano!
