Hostal with a somewhat worn-out and untidy common area. Unfortunately, there was no sign. The waste water ran past the hostal, and you could smell it. Early check-in was possible without any issues. Good air conditioning. The common area is open, shaded, and airy, but unfortunately also open to mosquitoes.

Check in was fine, however upon entering the room we noticed a very unpleasant musty smell within the restroom and bedroom. It seemed like the smell resembled mold. The room had no air ventilation, so we tried to use AC to help diffuse the smell; which helped very little. We noticed the first night that the bed caved in a little in the middle, and by the 2nd night the bed frame completely broke, leaving the mattress lob-sided and us feeling unsafe to sleep for the rest of the night. It was too late in the night to seek help from the host, só we went back to sleep hoping the bed frame wouldn’t break any further. By the morning, we asked the host for a refund, however she said she would agree to refunding us 2 of out of 7 nights of the booking (we only stayed 2 nights.) In addition to the smell and room, the bathroom was abnormally small and kitchen was dirty; mold growing on coffee pot, no gas for stove, and very outdated appliances. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

At check-in, communication was not very good as I was sent the same unusable location twice. Upon arrival, the room smelled musty and there was a dead cockroach on the floor, the towels and linens were stained. On request, we then got fresh linens and towels, which were then also clean. We constantly had new cockroaches and centipedes in the room and bathroom, the air conditioning is also very noisy and had to be turned off overnight. A large and cheap supermarket is easily accessible on foot.
