The house was clean, cool, and comfortable, and well equipped for a ten day vacation. There was plenty of room for all five of us (parents, tween and teenager, and grandma). The view from the patio and pool is beyond beautiful. The patio was visited by many neighbourhood birds, geckos, iguanas, hummingbirds, and butterflies, which we enjoyed immensely. The pool was the perfect way to cool down at the end of a hot day. Hermosa Heights was a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. We found most of the groceries we needed at the Luperon in Hermosa, and everything else at the larger grocery stores in Coco. Playa Hermosa has glorious sunsets, so be sure to head down to the water around that time. Less than 30 minutes to the airport in Liberia, and about 50 minutes to Diamante Eco Adventure Park. We had a great holiday!

Casa Golondrina was great! A private location; a beautiful home with a refreshing pool. We didn’t play pool but it had a great full size pool table if that’s your thing. It was an easy drive to other beaches and tons of restaurants. Dean was a great host and as others have noted he can meet you at the local grocery store and show you the way to the home which was very helpful the first time. Place felt safe and it has an incredible view. There is some construction next door but it didn’t interfere with anything for us because we were out and about most days. Perfect place for our family of 4. Each of the kids their home own bedroom with en-suite and my wife and I had the master suite on the other side of the house. It was the best set up for us.

Had a very pleasant stay at this spacious and well-equipped villa in Playa Hermosa. The plunge pool was the highlight, and way bigger and deeper (about 5 ft at one end) than I thought it would be so was great for our family. The photos don't show the ocean view, but it is really beautiful. The beds were comfy, and we appreciated all the beach towels and floaties for the pool. One recent review said that the TV in the living room didn't work, but we found that the remote just needed batteries. Both TVs have an Amazon fire stick so we were able to sign in to our own streaming services. We really enjoyed the laid back and chill vibe of Playa Hermosa and its close proximity to the more lively vibe in Playas Del Coco. Highly recommend this peaceful villa.

Amazing place, awesome host, and a truly VIP view! Dean went above and beyond,he met us at the grocery store and helped with groceries. Very highly recommended.

It's a wonderful house, with a spectacular view, with lots of amenities and allowed me and my family to enjoy it to the fullest. We would be happy to come back! Thanks to Dean for all his help.

We enjoyed Casa Golondrina for our first time staying in Costa Rica. It had most everything that you could need while on vacation. We liked that they had beach chairs (even though the picture had more than what was there), swim towels, coolers, hammocks, and a boogie board. Lots of outdoor seating options. We were greeted by two monkeys and an iguana. Secure location and host met us at a local grocery store to take us to the property. Convenient location to restaurants, tours, and other areas. The pool was great. I'd love to see the hedges taken down a bit so you can enjoy the beautiful view from the pool. There was construction going on right next door from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. every day except on the weekend, and it made enjoying the pool during the day not as nice, but what can you do about that? Overall, you can't go wrong with this property.

Dean was an amazing host! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated and with everything you need for a perfect stay. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, just what we were looking for. Dean was always attentive and friendly, and his hospitality made us feel right at home. We're already thinking about coming back. Highly recommended!

If you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Playas del Coco, but be within reach of all the adventures this part of Costa Rica has to offer, we would recommend unit 37 in the Hermosa Heights subdivision. We found the unit and subdivision to be comfortable, safe and secure. There is an ocean view and a nice pool to relax. The patio is big enough for 6 and a nice place to send your mornings and evenings checking out the birds and local iguanas. The kitchen was well equipped, and we managed fine for 5 days. Any issues with water supply have been addressed. We lost power for an hour one day, but it was not an inconvenience. All the ACs and bathrooms were functioning fine; and the fact that there is a washer/dryer was really nice for a longer stay. There is a movie theatre, fish monger, wine shop and other amenities on prem. We did not have time to enjoy them all. The local beach requires a drive, but it takes less than 10 mins. There is parking for 1 car at the unit.

The house felt safe and secure, and neighbors were helpful and very friendly. we really liked the infinity pool, and the layout of the house was nice. Beautiful view of the ocean and nature all around. This house is at the end of the road so there’s only a hill to the left making it very private. The only downside was that there were 6 of us staying there, and at the end of a full day of sightseeing and the beach we weren’t able to shower, run the dishwasher or do laundry when we got home because the water gets shut off every night at some point. Some nights it shut off at 10/11pm, but on busy weekend nights it came to a total halt as early as 7/8pm. It wasn’t the worst thing, but I wish the manager of this property was a bit more transparent about this inconvenient fact. Otherwise a great stay!

We stayed here for about 3 weeks and loved it! The condo is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. It has everything you would need for a short or long-term visit. The location is perfect -- a very short walk to the beach or downtown Coco. The property managers, Dean and Sandy, were welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Appartment is located on a quite location and perfect to hangout for some days. Pool in front of the Appartment was great and clean. Close by there are some nice restaurant and a bakery. Dean and Sandy were always available when needed.
