Nita

This was our favorite Airbnb of the three places we stayed in Costa Rica. It felt like we had a secluded resort all to ourselves. The owners have literally thought of everything A person traveling might need. Michael was a wonderful host and made sure that we had everything we needed. Priscilla cooked a delicious breakfast for us each morning. We enjoyed wandering around the property each morning with coffee in one hand and binoculars in the other. So many interesting birds to look at and the landscape surrounding the house was like a well maintained botanical garden. The pool was incredibly clean and refreshing in the afternoon and the hot tub was perfect for soaking in the evening. The place was a little tricky to find in the dark, but we pulled over after missing our turn and reread the instructions the host sent. You most definitely need to pay close attention to find the correct gravel road in the dark.

Very considerate hosts, with little touches that really impressed us. Mickael on site, lovely, The place is amazing, the breakfast superb. We were able to enjoy the view of the volcano from the pool, the calls of the howler monkeys in the morning, and the adorable dogs. We highly recommend

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Nita and Marty’s place in El Castillo. It was so beautiful and they have an amazing view of Lake Arenal. The view of the volcano from the swimming pool area was gorgeous too. Nita and Marty were great hosts and were always checking on us to be sure we had everything we needed. Our room was so pretty and the bed was super comfortable. There is a lot to do a short distance from their place or you can just sit back and enjoy nature.

Nita and Marty are fantastic hosts and their property is amazing! They have built a beautiful jungle oasis perfect for travellers who want to explore the arenal/la fortuna region. A delicious breakfast provided before a day of exploring the jungle is a prefect way to experience Costa Rica! If you don’t want to leave or need a day of rest the property has everything you need to relax and enjoy the sounds of the jungle! Highly recommended! Oh ya and you can drink the fresh spring water straight of the tap!!

Amazing stay with Nita and Marty! Their place is incredible with jungle and views, great hospitality, and a relaxing place. Breakfast every morning was a plus, cooked by a chef on site. The room was comfortable with air conditioning, even though we didn't use it during our stay. Nita and Marty were responsive and a joy to chat with in the mornings. Dogs are very friendly and felt right at home on this property.

Outstanding! In awe! 1000/10 if I could. Clear directions the entire stay, and very responsive to messages. Marty met us outside upon our arrival and showed us everything. Upon arrival to our room there were Snacks, a bottle of wine, chocolates, and soft drinks chilling in the refrigerator. We ate breakfast every morning and it was the best meals of our entire trip. Spotless facilities, hot water, fresh drinkable spring water- no need for bottled water. Incredible recommendations and amenities. Used the hot tub every day, which was nice because it was quite rainy. They have their own personal travel that leads down to a spring in the jungle. The whole space was created with such elegance and thoughtfulness.

Nita and Marty make you feel welcome from the moment you book with them. They immediately share a packet with recommendations and clearly explain how to arrive at the Airbnb, which is easy to find using Google Maps. Upon arrival, they welcome you personally, and the thoughtful touches in the room truly make a difference, from snacks to towels for use at the property, to bug spray and even a welcome drink. The room and bathroom are stocked with everything you could possibly want or need, and the personalized breakfasts are delicious. The hot tub is a great place to decompress after a full day of exploring Arenal and La Fortuna. The luxury of having a private hike in the forest makes the experience even more special. We also loved being able to have one load of laundry done. They are easy to communicate with, and their pets are a lovely. It was an amazing stay with fabulous hosts in a great location. You will not be disappointed. Everything is exceptional & thoughtfully done. 12/10

Beautiful surroundings, amazing breakfast, perfectly curated. Nita and Marty were great hosts. A perfect place to stay while visiting the La Fortuna area. Don’t forget about the nature walk down to the creek!

We had such a wonderful stay! The room looked exactly like the photos, and the surroundings were incredible. There’s a small trail right outside leads straight to a creek in the middle of a rainforest. If you wake up early, you can even use the binoculars provided by the host to spot toucans. The host was also incredibly thoughtful, they had sunscreen, bug spray, and even after-sun lotion ready for us, which we really appreciated. Their three puppies were absolutely adorable and super friendly. We had such a great time hanging out with them and they definitely made our stay even more special. We also booked dinner and it was delicious, and the jacuzzi felt very private and relaxing. On top of that, the welcoming gift with chocolates and wine was such a sweet touch. The only thing to note is that if you don’t have a car, it’s best to arrange a personal driver in advance, as Uber can be hard to get here. Other than that, everything was perfect. We would definitely love to come back!

We loved staying here! It was exactly as described - very peaceful and private with amazing views from the jacuzzi tub and pool! Breakfast each morning was delicious and the accommodations were very comfortable. We did the private chef dinner and it was amazing! We highly recommend if you’re looking for a place a little off the beaten path but not too far from the observatory, restaurants, and hot springs.

I cannot say enough about how great this stay was. This is a MUST STAY if you are coming to La Fortuna! It’s off the beaten path with an insanely beautiful view. It’s very private and quiet and was about a 30 minute drive to all our tours during the stay. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the massage in the private spa was relaxing. Located near some gorgeous view points of the volcano and lake. They had sweet furry friends around the BnB too! The hosts were sweet and accommodating of each request. I would definitely stay here again!!

We had an amazing time at Encantada Arenal. This booking was a surprise for my wife’s birthday and boy did it exceed expectations with the amazing views, the peaceful wind chimes, helpful staff, cute property and pets! Definitely recommend
