The host went above and beyond in terms of making sure we had a comfortable stay. He recommended local restaurants and places to visit. It was a pleasure to meet him and his family. They even invited us to their family Christmas Eve dinner. The property hosts a lot of farm animals and our family enjoyed being surrounded by the animals and beautiful nature.

Country house on a farm with very good privacy and excellent service from Juan Jose. Being on the farm, it's a nice experience to be in that place with many things to see.

The place is rustic but impeccable in terms of cleanliness and beauty, it has all the necessary things for the stay. A beautiful family and very friendly animals, puppies, geese and even a raccoon. Juan José very kindly left us a delicious cheese, mangoes and brought us a bunch of bananas. They helped us with everything, schedules, recommendations and so on. We would definitely come back.

Nice place, the entrance road was a bit challenging for a 4X2 car but it was ok. Really quiet area and in touch with the nature.

It's a beautiful, very traditional cabin on a cattle farm. The place is super quiet, cool, with many facilities nearby (restaurants, supermarkets, gas station, etc.) and the host and his family are super attentive

Very clear and friendly communication. Juan José's entire family is always attentive to what we needed. Children loved being able to see the animals in the property.

It all started with needing a place to crash for a couple of nights, and Juan's place looked like the place that fit our needs. The house had all the basics and allowed us to be close to Tilarán downtown for us to go to our activities. The bonus of a friendly host, as well as his always being around to help out was an added bonus. The farm was a huge hit with my 7 year old! She would wake me up daily to go and visit the cows, geese, dogs and hens. Also if lucky enough to hit a cheese batch, Juan might sell you some to take home! Highly recommend his place for any couple with kids or on their own visiting the area. Truly recommend and appreciate his help!

The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. It’s on the main road between Guanacaste and Alajuela. Keep in mind that it’s in a farm surrounded by animal barn. That’s what made this place one to remember, especially for my pet-loving kids. Juan Jose and his family were very friendly and even let us see the newly hatched chicks, cows and a month old bull. Ada and the other dogs were lovely and playful. The geese on the pond in the back of the house were very cute. Having a fully furnished kitchen was a big plus. Overall, a nice place to experience a true farm life.
