We stayed at Silvia's place as the last stop on our two week honeymoon and it was perfect! Small things reminded me of how Airbnb used to be, we loved that they left some fresh tropical fruit for us to enjoy! The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Small touches like provided robes added a layer of luxury. We spent multiple mornings or afternoons sitting in the rocking chairs on the patio enjoying the river or the rain. The cabin is so peaceful and a real highlight from our trip. Silvia and her husband were very accommodating during our stay and we would definitely revisit or recommend to friends visiting Costa Rica!

Nice cabin by the river in a convenient location

We loved our stay at Silvia's! The land surrounding the house is absolutely stunning! We swam in the river with the kids. The nature around us is magical. The accommodation was very cozy, comfortable, and clean. The only thing that bothered me was the little ants; it's important to clean up all the Food in the fridge; they are even attracted to toiletries. I would go back in a second. Thank you!

Enjoyed staying at this place. It is very lovely, especially being by a nice river. The home was very well designed and obviously much thought had gone into the decor and every other detail. Appliances are all very modern and worked well. It works better if you have a car as it is about 10 minutes from downtown La Fortuna. All in, a great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed forever. There was nothing better than sitting on the porch each morning, listening to the river while enjoying a cup of coffee. We even spent one morning soaking in the hot tub with our coffee, taking in the peaceful surroundings. Cooling off in the river was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The cabin itself is exceptional—the attention to detail, high-end finishes, and beautiful woodwork are truly impressive. Every aspect of the property has been thoughtfully designed. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. You’ll love it!

This Airbnb was excellent! There were lots of little touches that made it great (like drinks, fruit, and folded blankets & towels). It was so secluded and peaceful, and my husband and I loved sitting on the porch listening to the birds and the river. We also loved that it was on a farm where we could see cows and peacocks and their macaw!! I would HIGHLY recommend this stay. If you’re on the fence, do not hesitate to book it.

This was the perfect getaway spot for our week long stay. It was out away from the town where we got a lot of peace and quiet. The place isn't within walking distance of anything, but a quick drive into town made it very convenient. Everything was spotless upon arrival and the hot tub was very well cleaned and a really enjoyable part of our stay! The host was very proactive in reaching out to check in with us and making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a private retreat, I highly recommend this place!

Silvia was an absolutely fantastic host. Flexible on check-in, helpful on location, frequent responses whenever we had questions, provided a list of local things to do and where to go. Most importantly, a beautiful home. She and her husband did a fantastic job with the design and cleanliness of her AirBnb. We were close to everything we had planned, and the property had an assortment of animals we were able to check out in our down time. I cannot say enough about this property and host. Excellent experience.

This was one of the best AirBnB’s I’ve ever stayed at!! The property is very private and peaceful. The home is clean and tidy. It is located near a farm and on a steam, very unique for the area. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. I would stay again and highly recommend others stay here when they are in La Fortuna!

Great stay for part of our honeymoon in Costa Rica. Close to fortuna. Beautiful property, welcoming, and very responsive host. Need a rental car to get there, but also need a rental car to get to most activity locations in the area. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful place! Felt like home and near downtown

We had such a beautiful stay at this cabin on the river! The setting was peaceful and private, yet still so close to town which made everything really convenient. Our toddler absolutely loved the farm—such a special touch that made the trip even more memorable. Everything was just what we hoped for, and we would definitely come back again!
